Gorgeous! Comfortable!

Cons

The dealership! Mechanical issues

Don't Buy From Elite Auto To Glendale Az — When I purchased a 2006 GMC Envoy from Elite Auto on 9/17/2014, their website list the vehicle at $10, 231, however my finance paperwork lists the purchase price as $10,866.47. I have inquired on this issue multiple times, in addition to mechanical issues with the vehicle. This purchase has been an absolute nightmare, two days after the purchase, it broke down in their parking lot, wouldn't start, then, reoccurring issues with the engine light coming on, multiple trips to the "Chevy Dealership", everything was suppose to be resolved, two days later the engine began tapping, took the vehicle back again, at this point, since the purchase, I had only had the vehicle in my possession a total of 7 days. Now they said it needed a new motor and they would make it right and provide a one year warranty, it took 37 days to get the vehicle back, including at least a dozen of phone calls, messages, texts, most of which went unanswered or simply ignored. When I got the vehicle back on 11/17/2014, the mechanic tolds me, that he changed the rods, they told me a new motor was needed, but then didn't do it. We get about a week of use of the vehicle this time and the key stuck in the ignition sporadically, at this point I am done with this dealership, of several rounds of trouble shooting, we find that the solenoid shield wasn't tightened during the rod repair, this wasn't found until the truck broke down on three separate occasions and had to be towed home. A week later, I here dripping after I park the vehicle, notice there are three areas leaking, upon further inspections, we find it is oil, the oil filter that was put on the vehicle during the rod repair at Elite was USED and only hand tightened. Throughout all of this, I was without this vehicle for approxiamately 6 weeks, of which my auto insurance was $250 more than normal per month for a total of $375, the dealership in turn gave me a loaner parts of the time that my vehicle was in for repair, which my insurance would have covered, without the additional cost of the Envoy, for each loaner that they gave me, they registered those vehicles with the DMV in my name, which does not seem right, as I did not own those vehicles. The BBB complaint I filed is UNRESOLVED - "RE: Complaint ID # 10359607 The follow-up comments you submitted to BBB were sent to Elite Auto Financing for a reply; BBB has not received further communication from the company. Having reviewed this matter carefully, BBB has determined that the company has not adequately addressed the issues you presented or made a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute. BBB has closed the complaint which will now reflect in the company's BBB Business Review as unresolved. The updated Business Review will be available within 24 hours. The complaint will remain on the file for three years. We appreciate you taking the time to contact BBB. If you wish to pursue this matter further, you may consider seeking legal advice."

Pros

I love my car! It has all wheel drive, heated seats, good air conditioning, a cd player that holds up to six CD's, a radio, and much, much more. I love how it has a hatch back and it has side compartments in the back as well as a cover to put over your things so people can't see what you have in the back hatch! The fuel is also pretty impressive in todays economy.

Cons

There is less leg room in mine, and the back seats cannot be heated. I also don't like how the people in the front of the car must control the air/heating and how if you want to listen to the radio or a cd in the back, you have to ask the people in the front to change the cd or the song.

A Good Car With Impressive Gas Milage! — back and it has side compartments in the back as well as a cover to put over your things so people can't see what you have in the back hatch! The fuel is also pretty impressive in todays economy. There is less leg room in mine, and the back seats cannot be heated. I also don't like how the people in the front of the car must control the air/heating and how if you want to listen to the radio or a cd in the back, you have to ask the people in the front to change the cd or the song. Other than those little irritants, it's a great car.

Very Nice Suv For Me And My Family — Got my used a week ago...beautiful truck. My only concern is gas mileage, but I probably just gotta get used to having a bigger and more powerful engine. It is a nice upgrade from my '99 Tracker..love my "new" ride.

Pros

Roomy, powerful, affordable, practical

Cons

Old Style, mushy handling, road and engine noise

Envoy - Practical And Functional Work Horse. — Inexpensive, practical, powerful engine, mushy handling. Inexpensive, practical, powerful engine, mushy handling. This vehicle is likely no longer logical with the new crossovers coming from GM and others. Not sure why a 2008 model was made. The handling is mushy. the engine is strong. The ride is bouncey and road and wind noise is too loud. Engine starts loud. Breaks and traction lights always coming on at weird times for no apparent reason. With all that said, this type of car us a must have for my life style. Next time it will likely be a slightly smaller crossover for me. Times have changed Pros: roomy powerful Cons: mushy handling, interior noise, old style

Great Long-term Vehicle. — When I first got my truck, I loved sitting up high...tee, heee...but I enjoy it for the independence of carting all the stuff I need. It's fun to drive, large enough for my family! Her name is Crystal!

Pros

Looks great, drives well, has a lot of power, and tromps through the snow great!

Cons

It's been in the shop over 167 service days in the two years I've had it.

My Envoy Denali — I've had a lot of problems with my vehicle. It has been in the shop a total of 167 service days since I leased it in 8/06. They almost bought it back but then told me I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THEM TO TAKE IT BACK- $8000!!!! The vehicle has been in over 4 times for transmission, road harshness, tire, brake, body moulding, and belt issues.....it will never be right. I am totally screwed once the lease is up. I feel like the vehicle is comfortable, though. It has great power and is a trooper in the snow. She is gorgeous....just a pain in the butt. The dealership hasn't been great- which is a disappointment since I work there.

Pros

It has a nice feel to it on the open road and has plenty of power once you get it going

Cons

not alot of room unless you get the model with the 3rd row seat unlike mine

35

Not A Bad Vehicle Not Enough Options For What I Spent On It Or Room — Could have more pickup from the start, the weather stripping in the dr jams comes off to easily if you bump it,could be a little more roomier inside and for what I paid for it should have more options such as moonroof/pwr seats/better stereo/.Gas mileage is good and the trk drives very nice and is a good looking.Seems to eat up the goodyear tires though had them replaced at 15k miles.

Cons

Denali = Good Car — have had this car for over one year and only had to replace one major part that had a rock chip in it. over all for the having a V8 it gets decent gas at 19 in the city. and the V8 has the power to get you on the highway very easily.
