Cons

A Very Solid Midsize Car — A very solid car. Adequate power, easy to drive, good visibility, and good looking. This car doesn't suck away the gas, either and it tells you when you need to fuel up. Given the circumstances I had fun driving this car.

Perfect For A Young Family That Are Looking For An Economical And Reliable Car To Drive — Overall, this car has been extremely reliable and economical to run. It has certainly met my needs. There have been no major issues to report on the car at all. The trunk space is very good I think. Currently can comfortable haul a young family of 4 (two small kids in car seats); plenty room for strollers and shopping, or luggage for trips. Performance: If you are looking to get around fast, this isn't your car, wasn't designed for that. Acceleration is OK for a 4 cylinder. 5 speed helps the engine a lot. Build Quality: I would say the build quality is at the standard expected for this car in its class and price range. Its not terrible, but its not European car either. Appearance: I think this car has a someone respectable stance to it. Its not an eye turner for sure, but its no 2006 looking Hyundai either. It has a sporty look and upright stance. Cost of Ownership: As I mentioned above, this car has been great on the wallet to run. Wheels are 16" so tires are cheap, I average 26MPG, not bad for its size and age and maintenance has been economical. Fun Factor: Its not extremely sporty but I think its confidently tuned for a car in its class. I have challenged the car on some roads and I felt that it held up pretty good.

Fusion Rocks My Socks — Amazing performance - great acceleration and handling, very fun to drive. Top notch quality - no squeaks or rattles, very solid. Great features - 6-disc mp3 CD changer, incredible stock sound system, mileage calculator, etc. Gorgeous appearance - awesome styling, dual exhaust, very cool.

Pros

Stylish, Comfort, Engine sound, and Fun-to-drive

Cons

Turning Radius, Lack of manual transmission option on SEL V6 trim

Fun, Stylish, Comfortable, And Affordable — Exciting car to drive, both in the city and on the highway. Gets decent gas mileage in the V6 but still retains a good punch when you feel a little racy. Very comfortable all-around and has a large trunk.

Reliable, Safe, Fun Transportation That Still Has Spunk. — This car is arguably the best car, overall,, I have ever owned. Big but small. Slow but quick. She handles everything I ever ask of her with no problems. The Fusion is a well-created, highly-researched car. Ford put more than their fair share of development into making these, and you can feel it when you sit behind the wheel. I would ask for a tad more power, but the reliability more than makes up for it. Everything I ever strived for in my 90s cars (non-leaking moon roof, fog lights with running lamps, well-located center console) comes stock on this car. I love it, in and out. The only detractors that come to mind are the price of maintenance (a brake job all the way around, just parts, is about $300+), the easily broken thermostat (two weeks after I got it), the super-touchy electronic throttle, and the lack of a 6th gear. Mine is a manual, and, at 70 mph, in overdrive, the car sits at around 3K RPM. This is far too high for an economy car.

Cons

2006 Fusion — This was my first new car. I got it right before I went away to college. While I was traveling back and forth from home to school, (about a 3 1/2 hour drive) my gas mileage got to be about 25 (highway), but now that I'm home its down to about 21 (city). I love the acceleration in this car (I've burned a little rubber in it). I love the look of the '06 model much better than the new 2010s.

surprising power

Cons

doesnt come in a V6 manuel

65

Good Car — I really like this car the 3.0 V6 produces some good power and really surprises you. Kinda wish they would have made a manuel version for the v6 but oh well. Interior is a little on the cheap side for me, I dont like woodgrain trim other than that really cant complain about it.

good car for the price

Cons

06 Fusion — goes like hell for a family sedan, survived 3 morns ramming into it. 65k with no major issues or repairs looks better than a camry, and was cheaper and its about as fun as a standard family sedan can get.

No Car Belongs To You Until The Title Is In Your Hand — This car suited my disability needs, easy to drive, safe to drive, super on gas, big trunk for my wheelchair. its a pity that Ford Credit stole it from me after I made all payments on time. I totally loved it
