parts start to suffer under extreme power loads...

Luxury Diesel Truck — Performance-Torque powerhouse, especially when properly modified. Braking exceeds needs of the standard vehicle, even when heavily loaded. Build Quality-The truck is solid. Just ending with 600whp/1,000wtq., the front hubs start to suffer. That is all I have had fail. -The Truck is an Amarillo Edition 6.0L Diesel. I see 17mpg/city, 25mpg/hwy. And it pulls like a DEMON. Outperforms my previous 2007 GT in acceleration, comfort, reliability, and it goes everywhere. Ultimately, a luxury diesel truck that does it all, especially bring a smile to the owner's face!

Its Mine And I Love It — 2006 f250, 4 door, super cab, 6 speed, long box. I absolutely love this truck, gas milage is right around 17, its only got 20000 miles so its not quite broken in yet, i hope to have this truck for a long time.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Well I know for a fact it will out pull a dodge!!! Thats a plus, I think?

Cons

I Would Rather Push My Ford Than Drive A Chevy!!! — By far the best truck I have ever had. It is absolutely a dream. The only modifications I have made thus far is a Superchips Programmer. I plan on adding an AFE Stage II Cold Air Intake, as well as 5" stainless exhaust from the turbo back. I have also gone from 275 tires to 305 without any lift(Like to see you do that on a Chevy) I added the BF Goodrich All-Terrains. Would definately Buy Another!!!

Great Truck For Your Money — The look of this Truck is good, it is very comfortable to take on long trips. The quality of the build is alright it could use more room in the engine compartment so you can work on it easier. The maintainance costs are a little spendy but it is worth it if you are completing them on a reagular basis. The performance of the truck is awesome it has enough power to pull a 26 foot toy hauler out to a remote camping spot.

Pros

Best work trucks I have found.  We tow cargo trailers or 10klb open trailers daily.  Can pull anything, stopping anything is another story.

Cons

Breaking is good on lighter loads, heavier loads will get your heart and brakes pumping. Great work truck, not a great riding truck. Diesel injectors clog frequently.

Little Haus — Truck has been an overall great work truck. No major problems except for normal wear and tear. Will haul just about anything. Breaking heavier items is a bit slow. Rides like a work truck, if you want a comfortable ride buy a gmc.

Pros

Good stock ground clearance. Awesome brakes. Heavy duty springs for loaded meandering. Transmission in haul mode down shifts on its own.

Cons

Less than 12 mpg on ave. fully loaded. Can't see over the massive hood on descents. Smallish fuel tank for places like Big Bend NP or Death Valley.

Great Overland Adventure Vehicle — We leave this truck parked in the driveway for weeks at a time and then wham! it's off to the Grand Canyon or N. Padre Island. Rugged, reliable and small enough to park anywhere, we have been some awesome places in this truck.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Buy It You Won't Regret It Till You Try To Park Downtown — I love my truck as it is a head turner and is fully loaded with all the toys. Its great at plowing snow and alot of fun off roading with. With the dvd in the front and rear its great for long road trips.

Tough, solid, build.  Loves mud. :)

Cons

Expensive air filter, lack of creature-features such as seat warmers, power folding mirrors, and such.

25

No Regrets — It drives like a truck because it is a truck. That's not an issue with me. Sure, creature-features are a miss, but still, I love this truck. Two years later, I'm still loving it. My only major negative is that the air filter costs almost $100! And Ford wants it replaced every 10,000 miles! You're crazy, right? K&N, baby.

Brad's Diesel — My Truck is pretty awesome. Not gonna lie. Hauls anything and is pretty fast off the line. Awesome gas mileage. hahahaa. Diesel is the only way to go. Ford all the way. I just got 40000 on it and havent had one problem yet so im pretty sure it is gonna run for a long time.

alternator sucks I'm on my 3rd
rear springs sagged after six months  went air bags the only way to go

Lots Of Power Fuel Economy Sucks — 6.0L diesel has lots of power but I only get 15 MPG but no matter what I tow or put in the back I still get about 15 MPG
