2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 Overview
Just like the other Rams, the Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 got a new Mega Cab that extends the cabin by 20 inches. In addition, the pickup got some interior and exterior styling as well as optional navigation system and DVD system. With a 5.7 L, 345 hp V8 engine and 20 trims, you've got a lot of options with a lot of power.
This one ton pickup comes in 2 door, 3 seat and 4 door, 6 seat configurations. The Ram 3500 also has the highest max towing capacity of all the Rams with numbers that approach 16000 lbs. across all trims. Finally, the Mega Cab has 142.2 cubic feet of passenger space.
Overall, the Dodge Ram Pickup 3500's biggest selling points come from its powerful V8, high towing capacity, good passenger space in the Mega Cab, and smooth ride. However, as with the other Rams, the back seat can get a bit cramped. Despite any shortcomings, the 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 does pretty much everything you'd expect from a top domestic pickup truck.
