2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 User Reviews

All In All For Not Being Finished In My Favor Yet I Must Say This Truck Is Amazing — I had this truck custom blue printed from the beginning. It is a HO 318 w/ 6spd. The 4 wheel disc brakes make braking an issue for the older Rams. I'm looking to rebuild this truck into a real off-road machine with a 426 fuel injected Hemi, I also have a set of Dana 60 and 70 axles and an 6" suspension lift. I would like to install a 3" body lift and paint the whole truck black with orange trim and a set of stacks.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

If I Had To Buy Another Car, It Would Be Another Dodge Ram!!! — It has a 4,7 (287) not stock. it has 216 comp cams, sct tune, k&n 57 intake, 72mm bbk throttle body, gibson headres(ceramic coated) and full magnaflow exhaust. 341 rwhp and 422 rwtq. so its got some great power. slotted brembo brakes, hawk hp pads. and it stops the 4700lb truck with 275/65/20 pretty damn quick. love the way it looks. its fun to drive. no rattels nothing schakes. just a solid truck. just a little on the heavy side.

06 Dodge Quadcab — Its not an SRT 10...sadly. Other than that, there are a few minor problems. The brakes squeal sometimes a high pitched noise, but its usually because buildup of dirt particles acrews easily. The wheel is a little loose, and therefore, if you prefer a racing type suspension wheel (camero, corevette, etc), you will be disappointed. The A/C already needed some work, as a vaccum was broken. Also, a steep asking price of over $30,000 new.

2006 Dodge Mega Cab 1500 — The Mega Cab gasoline pickup is actually on a 3/4 ton frame and axle set up. It has all the pull you need for most applications, and yet the feel of a nice family vehicle for a truck. We bought this for two reasons: 1.) For larger cab space for the family of five, and 2.) for the ability to pull heavier loads. It has been a good vehicle for the most part. However, we have had some electrical, computer oriented issues. They have all been fixed with relative ease under the manufacturer warranty. If the problem persist after the warranty, I'll be mad, and not as pleased with this vehicle. We will revisit our dealership for a remedy.

Awesome — i love this truck i will never buy a different make or model of truck the hemi makes the truck most desirable it gets about 20mpg highway and 15 city for a truck this size that's pretty good it has standard 20" wheels it makes it sit taller then most things on the road even some trucks with a lift kit witch is sweet
