It Is Awesome, Looks Great And Drives Better. — Easy to dive, doesnt seem huge like it might from the outside. Accelerates exactly as you want it to, plenty of breaking power, and handles like a dream (if you are pulling a trailor you wont evn notice it). It is built like a rock, no noticable squeeks or rattles unless you are off a paved or gravled road. Interior is a bit easy to stain but no biggie, and the exterior is awsome, all chromed out with rails and handles, huge tires come stock (20 inch rims) and a royal blue color. Gas is not the best but it does nice for its size, 13-15.5 in city (depending on how many lights i hit and how annoyed i am) and i've had up to 20 on higway but that is only about a quarter tank worth on higway (criusin at 65). The only not fun thing is i don't have 4wd and its stil so new to me i try to take it easy. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsThis truck has space to spare. The5.7 Hemi delivers all the power most would want. Handles well for a 6800 pound truck. ConsFuel mileage, front ball joints.

More Room Than You Know What To Do With. — The Dodge Mega Cab is just that MEGA. Room for all. Love it! Power is good but could be better if the torque management system was eliminated. All controls are easy to access seats are very comfortable and even better with the 6 way power option. The optional stereo sys. really provides great sound. These truck do have front ball joint issues which I have had mine already replaced at 31K miles. Fuel mileage is low but you don't buy a truck like the mega cab and worry about fuel mileage. The 1500 is the same as the 2500 except for towing capacity and payload. Only a few hundred pounds difference. The bucket seat option along with the extra large cab provides plenty of storage for almost anything. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Top Notch Truck — My pick up is the nascar edition and is a dream to travel in. There are 2 adults, 2 teenage girls and two dogs and we drove for 2 12 hour days of driving on our holidays and never had a "not enough room issue" I get 17 to 25 miles to a gallon. The power is unreal, you never have to worry about passing or any thing when you drive this truck. | ||

Dodge Ram 1500 Megacab 2wd Slt — Overall I love this truck. MPG isn't great but it's good for the size and it performs well. It can tow up to 12,500 on the trailer and about 5,000 in the bed. The bed cover is nice too for long trips, but it can be a pain to get it off and back on again. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

A+++ Dodge Ram — I love everything about it. It's roomy interior. Nice cloth seats, I hate leather. The hemi is amazing! It just gets up and goes when you want it to! It's actually the Big Horn edition and that option wasn't on the review page. :o) Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Awesome Truck — Truck is really good shape even though it is almost 7 years old.It is very powerful has about 400 horsepower,had to replace brakes which is normal,also had to rebuild rear end because rear axle seized up.gats around 18mpg on average which isnt too bad for driving around the city with that bug of a truck.Very fun to drive spinning around and gets up to speed pretty fast with no speed limiter or rev limiter. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

I Love It. — has 68,000 miles, had brakes done at 64,000 miles. A/C door broke t 44,000 miles. Just started to blue smoke out tail pipe on startup. Yes it is a pleasure to drive. No other problems or complaints. I use it for all needs now that I retired. I owned a 2004 Ram 1500 Laramie, Sport, with a Hemi.. Drove it 80,00 miles Zero problems. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

This Truck Is A Lemon!!! — I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle since the day I made the purchase. I go through tires every 6 months. The truck always pulls to the right and shakes violently when traveling at 50 mph or more. No matter how many weights are put on the left the truck pulls to the right, I am up to 16 now. I can hear the wind thru the completely sealed windows when driving. Worst of all, I just went over 100.000 miles, my warranty expired and I started hearing a ticking in my engine. Turns out the #7 cylinder is scored badly and I need to have the engine rebuilt... $5800.00!! I was told by several of the mechanics who looked at the truck that this is a common problem with this year truck and engine. You would think a recall would be issued.
