Love My Truck! — I absolutely love my '06 Dakota. It has been very reliable (knock on wood)...and very fun. I've only owned it for about a year. I replaced the stock air filter with a K&N cold air intake. I also had the stock exhaust replaced with Flowmaster Delta 40 dual exhaust. The only complaint that I have is that I have an exhaust leak coming from the exhaust manifold. One of the bolts sheered off in the manifold, so its no longer a simple fix. Besides that, I have no complaints.

Cons

Not as comfortable

06' Dodge Dakota Slt 4wd Quad Cab — Not as comfortable as the earlier generation but the motor is about the same and the suspension is easier to work with then the previous. I also wish it sounded a little deeper like the 04 we have but I guess I'll have to get a magna flow.

'good Truck — great pulling a 16' bass boat. Lots of room. Back doors open a full 90 deg. handles well on logging roads in 4 wheel drive. Back seat has lots of room. especially with the bottoms are folded up. can put lots of fishing and camping gear in t

Best Small Size Pickup — comfy, fuel efficent. has lots of power for a v8. like the driverside adjustable seat. freat stock stero. lots of room in the vehicle providing the size of it. carries big loads and holds back on crusie control and tow/haul switch very well. 4wheel drive works exceptionly good, and climes up steep hills very well in 2wheel drive. handles very nicely

Pros

Nice size for taking the kids to gymnastics and having to navigate the parking lots, but still enough truck to get the job done.  Decent torque with the V8.  Dodge always has a great sounding V8!!

Cons

Fuel economy is the same as a full size with the 4.7L V8, and the ride is a little "floaty" when you hit a couple of humps in the road.

The Perfect Size Truck For What I Need. — I bought the truck to go to and from work, out to the job site and carry upto 4 adults. It is a nice driving truck that has comfortable seats, and is decently equipped. I didn't buy it expecting Corvette performance, I bought it for taking the family camping and for doing yard work. I also needed to have a reliable vehicle that didn't break the bank. I am quite satisfied with the overall performance and driving experience of the truck. Would I like more power....silly question, but do I need it? No.

My Dodge Truck — --2006 Dodge Dakota Club Cab ST-- Performance - It runs great, but needs better low-end power and torque. When punched, it flys like a bat out of hell! Quality - Great, bought it used, so it had some things needing repaired! costly things to be specific! all fixed now! Appearance - Awsome, couldnt have asked for a more beautiful Truck! Love the styling of the truck. Many plans already thought of for this truck, just waiting on the funds to be there!

Dodge Dakota — reliable, durable, comfortable, and lots of power. Have done nothing to it but put tires on it. Goes through anything. Wouldn't trade it for anything, but a dodge ram.... fun to drive. this is my third one, I guess you could say I like the truck.

Cons

bad build quality

My Last Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep Vehicle — This tuck can get the job done. But when It comes to build quality it sucks! loose plastic parts cheap plastic feel all around the truck. But It Is fun to drive! The cost of ownership is higher then what It should be. But due to the bad build quality the cost of ownership is higher.
