The middle tier LT1 trim comes standard with cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a CD audio system, keyless entry and full power accessories. The LT1 is also differentiated from the lower level trims by the addition of an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Unlike the Silverado 1500 and 2500, the 3500 crew cabs are all fitted with the longest bed option, measuring 97.6 inches. The 3500 is a one-ton truck, able to carry payloads of 4213 pounds with two rear wheels or 5511 pounds with dual rear wheels. The 3500 offers some additional hauling flexibility, verses the lighter-duty 1500 crew cabs, which are only available with the 67.9-inch bed.
