Pros

It is built like a tank and its one truck you can feel safe in!

Cons

NONE what so ever!

Tales Of The Silverado — This truck might have the 4.8 L in it, but its sure wants to drive like the 5.3 L. Its built like a tank, had 2 minor accidents that were both in a ditch with only damage the one time to the fender and step bar. No damage to frame what so ever!! Solid Chassis!!!! Gas mileage is great, I use Synthetic Oil in it, gas mileage improved even better when I used Synthetic. I know go close to 1,000 kms on 1/4 tank or you could say I fill up every two weeks instead of once a week that I used to.. It is a fun truck to drive because its huge, and sounds awesome!

My Truck — Overall I love it because I like trucks in general, but the transmission can be a little sticky when you accelerate too fast, and it has a small dent on the back of the bed, but other than that it is a great truck.

The Truck - The Condensed Version — Ok, this truck makes a simple statement about me - That I can really have a truck that's dependable. Since new at just 6 miles in 2005, the truck has done a few things - haul people a lot and cargo very little. It rarely tows but takes me and my entourage wherever we need to be. It does it's share of jumpstarts (including my son's 1998 expedition) and rescue missions. Inside the ride is comfortable, the truck manuevers well in traffic and costs minimal to operate - except for gas, it's only downfall. Oil changes are easy on this truck, it's right next to each other!, fluid changes and filter changes are often and for a vehicle that has lasted 150,000 miles it has never left me on the side of the road. My son wants to have it - but wants me to pay for it - typical! He says it makes him look better. I say it's the best way to pass the buck!

Awesome! — Great gas mileage, fun to drive and 4 doors!!! Great interior set up. All the bells and no hike in insurance like in a SS or LTZ. K&N Filter is a great add to improve performance. I also use it for utility.

Good Truck, Dependable Transportation — We've owned this truck for just over 3 years and it has just over 100 k miles. It runs great and has decent power. I like the interior design just wish GM had spent a few bucks more on some better feeling leather/ plastics. Our kids love the sunroof one nice days and there are plenty of aftermarket support to customize it just how I want it.

Great Truck! — If you're looking for a great deal for a used truck, this is it. You can't beat the quality of a Chevy truck and their ability to handle so much. This truck will get you where you need to go and haul what you need to haul.

Love It! — I have owned this vehicle since the day it rolled out of the showroom. It has been a very solid truck with very few issues. I have owned many Chevy Silverados over the years and usually traded them within a couple of years. This one I will keep until the wheels fall off.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)
