Pros

Seats are quite comfortable (leather heated). Bose sound system is Awesome! Drives smooth and easy. Looks great. Has tow package and tows easy also.

Cons

Exterior plastic:  molding around door handles are cracking(garage kept). Tail gate plastic handle falls off(stuck on with sticky tape from factory). Both front hub bearings went out before 50K miles.

Looks And Comfort — Love the way it looks and the comfort when driving(sitting in it). Was disappointed when I installed aftermarket wheels and tires 20's and the power steering was unable to handle it. I am a mechanic of over 20 years and knew it would break more often than a ford but picked the Chevy for the comfort and looks.

Pros

Modification friendly!

Cons

High mileage

Great Smooth Ride Even When Modified — I like that a truck with this many modifications runs great without issues with high mileage. Can be driven hard and not be a problem. The design is beautiful and practical with spacious room for family and great gas mileage. Hard to beat a good Chevy.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Do Not Ever Even Consider Buying This Truck. — this truck is garbage. looks good but it mechanically sucks. cheap trannys, the diffs suck ass. interior is ridiculous, very simple and extremely cheap. the ac crapped out never fixed because it just wasnt worth it. gets decent mileage though.

Reliable

Cons

Not a good choice for a family vehicle

Trouble Free! — Can't beat the reliability of a chevy. The 5.3 motor will not let you down. It has a mix of power and economy. Push button four wheel drive is a must have. Fog lights help out a lot with seeing the deer on the road.

I Love It! — This truck has been extremely reliable and I have never had any serious issues with it. The most expensive non-routine work I have had done was replacing the rear axle seals and those were cheaper than new brakes. LOVE it

Chevy Thang — i don't have a whole lot to say about the chevy 1500 because i am at a loss for words it blew me away this is a really sweet looking truck and i wish i owned one lol i get to test drive alot of cars because i work at a dealership but if i was to buy a new truck i would kinda be stuck in the middle between a tundra and the silverado chevy's are my favorite but if wanted a truck to last forever i guess i would have to go with a toyota. the chevy has all the power you need and then some and it is an absolutley beautiful truck interior and exterior

Pros

It is built like a tank and its one truck you can feel safe in!

Cons

NONE what so ever!

125

Tales Of The Silverado — This truck might have the 4.8 L in it, but its sure wants to drive like the 5.3 L. Its built like a tank, had 2 minor accidents that were both in a ditch with only damage the one time to the fender and step bar. No damage to frame what so ever!! Solid Chassis!!!! Gas mileage is great, I use Synthetic Oil in it, gas mileage improved even better when I used Synthetic. I know go close to 1,000 kms on 1/4 tank or you could say I fill up every two weeks instead of once a week that I used to.. It is a fun truck to drive because its huge, and sounds awesome!
