2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx Overview
Overall User Score
Based on 8 reviews
The 2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx was restyled, and dropped the chrome bar that ran across the grille of the car. These changes hearkened back to earlier days of this model, recalling a sportier era, only this time in a zippy little station-wagon-type machine.
The base engine is a 217-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6, with options up to the 3.9-liter V6 rated at 240 horsepower. The car has many nice amenities, including available leather and advanced trip computer. Mileage is decent at 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
