Power, Beauty, And Comfort Wrapped In One. — This is a great looking, fun and fast driving roadster! Plenty of horsepower, yet great economy-27 mpg! Triple black with all of the options that make it very comfortable for cross country or daily driving. It is an eye-catcher!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

The torque, the acceleration, and the overall drivability of the car

Cons

Interior was lacking a little and steering could be a little more precise

To Go This Fast In Any Other Car Would Cost You At Least Double The Base Of This — People will criticize the interior of the Corvette but if you compare to a Porsche without a large leather package and over $10,000 worth of options I would say it's pretty comparable. That aside, the acceleration in this car is the fastest I have experienced. The transmission is a little clunky during around-town driving, but when you rev it past 3,000 rpm's and dump the clutch it's smooth and deliberate. The exhaust note is a nice combination of American muscle growl with a hint of European mechanical wine from the engine. The later-G gauge is fun to play with on back roads to see how many your pulling. Overall just a wonderful sports car that can run with the best from Europe at half the price.

Covette Is It!! — The sleek looks, the quality that is evident when driving the Corvette and the thrill attached to it is wonderful. This car surpasses in most respects the suypposedly higher end and coslier by two or three times sports cars available in today's market.

Pros

acceleration.

Cons

traction control.

No.does Not Work On Everyday Basis. — incredible accelerarion from the 7 litre engine in the zo6.different from the 5litre corvettes from previous years. accelerates to 1oo km/h in first gear.by third gear i will be doind 200 km/h.this is a stock zo6.Has potencial to beat and out shine ferraris & other super cars. However amazing it may be ,it only works on a track.it gets all twitchy on the road. the steerings heavy, ridicuous plastic interior, heavy clutch, terrible in rainy wheather.

One Of The Most Fun Cars Ever — great acceleration. removable hard top. Feels like 100mph at 70 with top off. Great fuel economy too!

Pros

Where do I start??  The performance, the looks, the sound, the feel.  Everything you buy a sports car for.  I like the transparent roof and the fact that it is removable.  I didin't think I would like the bling of the chromed wheels, but they've grown on me.

Cons

Because of the low-slung proportions and seating position, the car feels longer and wider than it actually is.  It's actually only an inch or two longer than a Porsche Cayman S. (Really!)  My previous C5 got a lot better gas mileage, but it did not have the free flowing intake/exhaust that this one has nor the 6sp manumatic transmission.

Sex On Wheels — I love this car. Every time I am in the market for another sports car (which is every time I wreck the previous one), I cross shop those at the same performance level and those at the same price point....and twice now, I've ended up at the Corvette. At the same price point, the BMW M Coupe and Porsche Cayman S are very, VERY compelling...but ultimatley fall short. So do lower priced sports cars, such as the Mazda RX8 and the Nissan 350Z. At the same performance level, the Corvette is priced 1/3rd less and still matches or outperforms it's competitors from Porsche, BMW, et al. Plus, its gorgeous. What's not to love?

2006 Chevrolet Corvette — 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, 4.2 if you whomp the gas. 6-cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission. Black convertible top, nice wheel base, low to the ground aerodynamic, and fast

'Nuff said.

Cons

It drives like a rollercoaster due to the closeness to the ground. You will definitely feel this ride more so than others.

Probably One Of The Best Solid Road-worthy Cars Around. — In terms of performance, this beast is top of the line. Not many street drivable cars compare with the 2006 C6 Z06. Brakes, acceleration, and handling are well above the norm. And for those times when you want to show the guy next to you at the red light what a real car looks like, you can pop the vehicle into competition mode. Doing so enables a 1st - 4th gear jump, giving you less drag time trying to shift gears.

Damn This Car Is Awesome!!! — The car is an all around performer. However, I do have one complaint. The seats are entirely to soft and lack proper bolstering. Also, they could be more rigid. Other than that, the car is an engineering marvel!! Sleek, sexy, and blindingly fast!! There are not enough good things to say about this car!
