The Chevy Colorado's 4WD system features a two-speed InstaTrac transfer case with push-button controls. The 4WD models are also available with the Z71 off-road package, adding a torsion-bar front suspension with heavier-duty shocks, a locking rear differential, oversize tires, and skid plates. Fuel economy is estimated at 17/22 mpg with 4WD.
