Nice Looks, Bad Engine — Was my second company car, and I had no choice again but to go for a diesel ... Sucks beyond imagination

Cons

Dealerships

Bmw 5 Touring — Fast and fun to drive. Alive with technology which is why it often doesnt work. To be honest not the cars fault but the so called BMW technicians who invariably break it when its serviced. Also mentally expensive to run due to rip off merchant BMW Dealerships In Conclusion buy a Mondeo instead

Unlike Any Other, Powerful And Classy — I loved this car, from the moment I saw all of the technology, Blue tooth, Navigation, Heads up display. This one was loaded. It drove amazing, a little big for city driving, but the parking sensors made it easy to fit into tight spots. The best car for the highway, but needed to watch my speed constantly, as it was so comfortable.

Pros

Steering and handling like no other. Plenty of pedal when you need the power to pass.

Cons

After 100,000 miles there are things that will need attention, and usually these things will require you bring out your pocketbook

Awesome Ride! — I love the performance and asthetics of this car. It has a good body style range, meaning from years 2004-2009 there wasn't much change, and it gave enough of an updated look that it stayed relevant in the mid 2010's.

Amazing — I love driving this car. I feel very safe and I love having heated seats, a heated steering wheel and all the other bells and whistles. I love driving a BMW and i don't know if I can ever go back to driving anything else.

The 5 Series Is Thee Ultimate Driving Machine. — Great power and handling. I've owned a 2000 528i and a 2006 550i. Both had the manual transmission. The 550i was 71k new back in 06. It had Heads up display and transferred your contacts via bluetooth into the car.

Cons

Looks Great From All Angles; A Technology Tour-de-force — Great car. Not as ubiquitous as the 3-series. The Auburn interior (the orangy one) is a head- turner. No problems with the iDrive -- I love it. Roomy, huge trunk, good cabin storage. Looks good from all angles (though I wasn't crazy about the Bangle-styled 5-series when it came out a few years ago). The 525i has been adequate and then some. Decent mileage.

Pros

Just the best car in this class.

Cons

All extras cost a lot in Europe... as known for all Beemers and Benz.

Great Car And Absolutely Valueable! — Me personally I would need more power, but it is just the 525.. therefore everything is just great and it anyway runs 245km/h on the speedometer. Handling couldn't be better for a sedan. Electronic deviced are just great as e.g. the voice control, the headup-display and whatever you say: the iDrive works perfect to me! Better than the reportedly better Audi-system! And for sure better than Mercedes. The design is angry and different.. I like it, cause Audi is great from inside, but boring from the outside.
