ProsThe V70 D5 has good 'grunt' with a good 'roar' when booted ..... and still returns 50mpg on a M'way run ConsFinding parking spaces to fit in, in UK .... but at least the folding mirrors help

A Real Sports Hold-all — Having penned and led the AT05 programme, it was natural that when i was looking to replace the 806, that i should chose the V70 as my wife still hankered after her Taiwan S60, and i needed a long legged cruiser for reliable journeys back'n'forth to Coventry University. The D5 has good 'grunt' with a good 'roar' when booted ..... and still returns 50mpg on a M'way run .... its a 'keeper' .... 105k miles and just reached maturity. Plus i love the colour, on the 2005 i chose, which made it to production. Primary Use: Family transportation

Good Car. — Very good car for your everyday driving and moving your family and stuff around. Has enough power also. Good acceleration: 7,8s to 0-100km/h. Good ride comfort. Car is very pleasing to drive. I would recommend this car for anyone who needs space and safety. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Overall Great With A Few Minor Bugs — Overall great comfortable solid veh.Only drawback of the v70 2.5T AWD is the HP TIRES AND RIMS they look great and would be great on the Autobaun but on North American roads they are crap. If they had Regular tires they would be great.Hope someone has a reply with a solution James Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Lovely, But Very Expensive To Run, Reliability Not Perfect, And Dealers Dreadful — Performance - blistering Build quality - not perfect, quite a few reliability issues from new Appearance - looks the part Costs, prohibitive, 23mpg, servicing incredibly expensive at main dealers, and they treat you as if it's their car! Blew An Engine Up Before It Had 500 Miles On Clock — Good safe car but the handling is a bit pants, back end tends to step out when cornering hard. Engine blew with under 500 miles on clock but it was being driven hard, whilst I was at work. Beleived to be a manufacturers fault as the S60 I use didn't blow up lol |
