The mid-level 2.5T trim adds an eight-way power drivers seat with a memory system, fog lamps, 16-inch wheels and dual-zone automatic climate control. Volvo's Sport Package is a popular option, adding a manual-shift feature for the five-speed automatic transmission, front and rear sport seats, and 17-inch tires. This performance upgrade is only available with the Premium Package, which includes a sunroof and an audio upgrade.
The 2.5T also gets a slightly larger and significantly more powerful version of Volvo's five cylinder engine, which makes 208 horsepower. There is no manual transmission option on the 2.5T.

The T5 houses a 257 horsepower version of the turbocharged 2.4 liter inline five engine, and buyers once again may choose between a manual or automatic transmission. The manual has been upgraded to a six-speed unit here. An anti-skid system and sport suspension also come standard.
The T5 comes equipped with all of the features found on the 2.5T, plus a special cloth and leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, aluminum interior accents, a garage-door opener, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. T5s also also outfitted with 17-inch wheels.
