I Love My Gli — Its amazing. Its pretty quick off the line and always turns heads. Got a few aftermarket parts on it. the only thing that sucks about it is that the parts for it such as tires, sensors, etc, are expensive as hell. It could have a bigger turbo, but other than that its amazing.....

Cons

a bit pricey...

Whew I Love My Baby! — Love my baby! Drives like a dream, great XM radio, lots of fun to drive, mechanically sound. Car has great acceleration, and is very roomy inside. It is bigger inside than my father's Lexus IS 350, a car that I disdain to the ends of the earth.

Outstanding , Excellent In Driving — Remarkable car drives as good when it was only 32, 700 miles. Hugh upgrade done to motor on the mechanical area of jetta. Braking has been upgraded with OEM parts that are slotted rotors front and back plus new brake pads. The VW Jetta drives very smooth especially a notice with the transmission filter and fluid kit change. Overall with the New VW Turbo charger recently replaced on 29 March 2012 what a difference. The motor has new lift injection pump and O2 Oxygen sensor and metering sensor. Plus new battery and new electronic Fuel pump and sensor for the gasoline tank. Drives and handles like new car.

Nearly Perfect. — This is a Mk IV Jetta... mine handles very well. Braking is very fast with no fade at all. Cornering is stable and fast. Traction control works extremely well for turning. Acceleration in 1st gear is like most decent cars. In 2nd, the turbo kicks in and the car goes from "I'm a nice little sedan" to "RAWRRRR!". The diesel engine also has plenty of torque at any standard (Under 95 MPH) speed. Passing at any speed is effortless. Hills don't require much of a change in throttle. Even at altitude (8000 feet), the car is frisky and responsive. Build quality is superb. The vents can rattle, but that's about it. It could look better. The black interior seems a bit too serious for a Dub. I'd have preferred tan. Maintenance can be a bit steep, but the car is well made and needs little. Gas mileage has run an average of 47.5 with a low of 42 and a high of 48.5. City to highway is not much of a difference for some reason. This car is GREAT to drive... I've only seen a few that can match it for the price... and nothing touches it with the fuel economy that it has.

Kistlers First Car And Never Agian — the car is ok could be better mine is a 5 speed Manual which is nice. The inside is banging nice sound system, black leather is sweet. The outside looks like ass. The handling is nice for a front wheel drive car it hugs turns well. that is really the only good thing it is slow as hell and has no power

05 Jetta Gli, Lagoon Blue — fun to drive, kind of a sleeper, sounds well tuned and then bag out of no where a over the top Blow off. haha A big fan of the carbon fiber hood that has been painted to meet up with the grill lines to make the car flow a lot better.

I Loved Everything About It Till Some Jackass Crashed Into The Back Of It.... — From The Wheels To The Transmission This Car Is Great, The Only Thing VAG Could Have Done Is Built The Interior Better. I Loved The Car And Will Regardless Of If It Was Distroyed. It Handled Geat With The Koni Coilovers I Put In Over The Stock Suspension & The APR Chip Helps ALot.
