I Have Mixed Feelings. If The Air Conditioning Had Never Broke, I'd Probably Still Own This Car. — Well, I absolutely loved this car. It has paddle shifters on the steering wheel, tip tronic shifting and all the get up and go a girl needs. The leather seats were wonderful in the summer and winter. The car handled perfect and was tight to the road. I felt I could race the Indy 500 and be racing in luxery. Now for the downside. The air conditioning to a DUMP!!! The car was never fixed after 3 attempts I gave up. The car was never the same again. So sad. It had great potential. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Nice Car... Don't Let Your Factory Warrenty Run Out. — Its been 3 years since I bought my pre-owned Jetta...now 34,000 mi. No major problems so far. Had A/C compressor replaced once, also motor on gas tank latch. Its beginning to rattle more than usual, but still a fun car to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Nice Vw Jetta — The care is very nice. It handles well and is a smooth ride. The sun/moon roof is nice. The truck is really big. The down side of the car is that it doesnt have much acceleration but the up side to that is that it gets around 30 miles a gallon. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

A Fun Car To Have But A Lot To Work On — performance ig great on this car my acceleration is fast my breaking is hard and my handling is perfect for a FW drive car the car has not needed any repairs no squeaks or rattels...the interior is black on black and the exterior is gray on black no updated pic but rims are black the grill is black and the window are too..... gas mileage depends on the boost level but the car is fun to drive people turn head when u beat a 50k car it great lol i love this car ....... Nearly Perfect. — This is a Mk IV Jetta... mine handles very well. Braking is very fast with no fade at all. Cornering is stable and fast. Traction control works extremely well for turning. Acceleration in 1st gear is like most decent cars. In 2nd, the turbo kicks in and the car goes from "I'm a nice little sedan" to "RAWRRRR!". The diesel engine also has plenty of torque at any standard (Under 95 MPH) speed. Passing at any speed is effortless. Hills don't require much of a change in throttle. Even at altitude (8000 feet), the car is frisky and responsive. Build quality is superb. The vents can rattle, but that's about it. It could look better. The black interior seems a bit too serious for a Dub. I'd have preferred tan. Maintenance can be a bit steep, but the car is well made and needs little. Gas mileage has run an average of 47.5 with a low of 42 and a high of 48.5. City to highway is not much of a difference for some reason. This car is GREAT to drive... I've only seen a few that can match it for the price... and nothing touches it with the fuel economy that it has. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Sweet — well its a volkswagon so engine lights on so get it under warranty, but the handling and engine power is exceptional! i would like the sound of the speakers a little better but they are pretty good. it is a very fun car and sleek looking car. The Only Thing I'd Change About It Is Put A 1.8t Tiptronic In It. That's It. — Everything. Comfortable OEM interior, drives nice, beautiful color, get compliments all the time on color, great gas mileage, cheap to own, for the most part. Learn to do repairs yourself. it's more fun that way. Over all, A++++. <3 Volkswagen. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Super Car And Great To Drive. Perfect For Anyone — Great performance even though I drove the 1.6. It has great comfort. Super smooth on the roads. Car is pricy at first and value drops quick on it. the car has good handling but it is too far off the ground making it at times felling as though you are driving a 4X4 lol Primary Use: Family transportation | ||
