ProsThe super strong mid range punch and handling that just wont let go ConsAlloys wheels loose their laquer too easily

Money Well Spent As Its Proven To Be Very Reliable And Is Always A Pleasure To Drive — Simply Brilliant,Fast, torquey and still acheives 55mpg,very sure footed handling which is almost impossible to upset no matter how hard you drive it,Has to be one of the best cars on the market for performance, build quality, reliability, and retaining its retail value.2.0 Tdi 6 speed worth the extra money over the 1.9 Tdi. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsHandling Consdurability

I Love This Car — It is an excellent car for the first 5 yrs in terms of stability, braking, performance, handling, appearance, exterior styling. But all of the above will loose its value after the 5 yrs. Also the car is not durable and the interior building quality is poor. But...By all means this car is fun drive...:)) Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsHands down - 600 miles to a tank! ConsCan be expensive to maintain.

Keeping It! — The TDIs are probably one of the best cars in the hatchback segment. Built in Brazil, it aims to command 145 hp and 292 ft/lbs of Torque. Quality is in VW up till 2011!VW seems to have lost it with the 2011 Jetta entry level in terms of interior quality; what is going on??? Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Prosfun to drive, will never break, has tons of airbags Consit's slower than george bush,

Extremely Well Made, Very Safe, Fun To Drive, And Cheap To Insure — The 4th gen golf is safe and well made, stability control, ABS, and side airbags come as standard. It's got an antiquated 115bhp engine, but it'll happily rev up to 6500rpm through the gears. It goes from 0-60 in under 9 seconds, which is faster than a yaris. It's very heavy, so it feels much bigger than it actually is. Push it through the corners and it'll go on three wheels before it lets go. It's great fun to drive, and it's extremely refined for an economy car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsGreat fuel economy! ConsLittle reliabilty issues

My Tdi — Fun to drive. Has some get up and go. It's a great commuter car. It gets really excellent fuel economy, but it does have some reliability issues. We've had 2 sunroof water leaks and the hatch back lock selenoid is not working properly. It is a fun little car though. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Very Good But A Fragile Heart!!! — pure nice this is the bomb, in performance and style. the acceleration is quite good as well, the inside is big and comfortable enough to drive. the only downside was that its a bit fragile in place which might put ppl off but overall is a geniune buy for secondhand and a future classic!!!!!

ProsSolid, Safe, Quick, Cheap to run ConsMaybe a bit heavy
25
Solid Golf Gives A Kick — Very solid feel, with doors that sounds like they were taken off a vault. Performance and economy is sound - I average 55mpg on regular runs and can get 65mpg on motorways. As well as being safe, it can also motor and when the turbo kicks in, you're away at a good pace. Primary Use: Commuting to work
