Love The Durability And Simplicity... — I previously had a 2000 Tundra with over 275,000. As a contractor, reliability has to be number one factor in vehicle. Only problem with Tundra was on a trip through Montana. It was -35 degrees and radiator fan (?) started to rattle. Replaced, and truck kept running as strong as ever. Hoping this vehicle can last as long. Regular oil and tire rotations are key.

Pros

Solid vehicle for hauling, travelling, and family commuting or vacationing

Cons

Has issues with brakes (shimmy) and suspension (makes a popping sound which the dealer never found)

The Tundra Is A Solid Choice For A All Around Family Vehicle — I purchased the car in 2007 and enjoyed the higher vantage point and roomy interior over my s10 that I had previously owned. It has gone all over and has been reliable and safe. However the brakes are beginning to shimmy and the front-end always had a mysterious popping sound coming from what sounds like the control arms or other suspension parts which to this day has not been diagnosed. Overall this truck is very good and I would purchase it again despite some small annoyances.

Tundra — This is an all around great truck. Seats 5 adults comfortably or you can put some kids in the backseat if you have too. This is the only vehicle I have kept long enough to have completely paid for!! Now if it would get 30 MPG it would be the PERFECT vehicle.

Pros

Good power, room, and looks. Ride is better than any other truck I've seen. Big, but not huge like most crew cabs.

Cons

Gas mileage isn't great, but average to good for this year and size truck.

Best Truck I've Ever Had — Great looking and best handling truck I've ever driven, Sometime I forget that I'm driving a truck. Room for back and front passengers very good. Hauling my trailer I sometimes forget it's back there. More than enough power unless you have a huge load to pull.

Excellent Product — Very stylish truck, great handling, very comfortable, reliability is second to none. I bought it for about 26K new and it is worth about 15k now. After 7 years ... well you do the math !! Thank you for reading my review.

If You've Never Owned One, Buy One! — I have owned this truck for 5 years and have loved every minute of it. If not for the need for more interior passenger and cargo space, I would drive this truck until the wheels fell off. I will be sad to see it go

I Would Reccomend This To Anyone Looking For A Decently Capable Truck. — This truck is amazing for what it is meant to do. I have used it multiple times for lots of different things like trips to the dump and moving. The performance is awesome, better then anything you would find in a domestic equivalent by far. It is fun to drive on and off road, within the 2 wheel drive limits of course. I have had NO issues with this truck and I currently have 142, 800 miles. The truck accelerates very quickly with the 4.7 V8. The brakes stop great and it handles more like a car. It has a great build quality, been put through its paces and nothing rattles or needs replacing. The exterior and interior are nice for the time it was made. The gas mileage is great for a V8 truck that actually has a capability. I actually get 17-18mpg average, mostly city.

2005 Tundra Access Cab — Love the truck, good power considering its size, plenty of room, good on fuel. It is a good all around truck. I bought it for about $18,000 at around 63,000 miles on it. It is a very fun truck. Great Choice.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

I Love My Tundra! — Does everything I want or need and doesn't drink gas like a tank. No mechanical problems, no warranty issues, no problems of any type. This is a properly built truck that doesn't really drive like most othe trucks I've owned.

Overall Fun Truck To Drive, But Ride Quality Sucks By Jonathan
