It's The Truck Top Gear Used When They Go To The North Pole! — Since it's a diesel 3.0, there's turbo lag, but once turbo kicks in, you better watch out for wheel spin, especially when road's wet. Since it's a Toyota, it's quite reliable, nothing went wrong with it since I bought it, except the A/C are not cool enough sometimes, but it's just broken and I haven't had time to go fix it. Appearance was the major reason that I bought it, it looked way better than any other manufacture's trucks and beats any models. Everyone wanted this car so bad that I had to wait for months to get this car, what I did was gave some money to the salesperson and have him pull a ready-to-deliver car off the delivery schedule and sell to me. As you can see in the photo, you can drift with this truck. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Plannig To Chance Vios Or Used Civic ... — have a large passenger space , new interior and exterior , road tax cheep , large cargo space , second value high . weakness -2.5 low power , chassis material not so hard , especially the from lower arm and upper arm , one crash sure dental ... because i bought used , and spare part damn expensive ... need to avoid a dirty diesel oil , fuel pump easy clogged .. Primary Use: Family transportation |

I Would Have One Again If I Was Young And Single, Without Ant Kids — Performance - 3.0 Turbo Diesel has outsanding torque, and power regardless of the load on the back Build Quality - the front skid pan is a plough, be careful when travelling on tracks that are rutted Appearance - a bold step outside Toyotas original shape Hilux, turned plenty of heads when it was a rarity, not so much now its seen everywhere Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Its My Big Baby!!! — I like everything and dislike fokkol!!!! it has a turbo so acceleratio is awesome, build quality is great, appearance is sexy, cost... well lets not go there, fun factor, Mind Blasting ;) i will never go back to a normal car again, toyota hilux all the way till i die!!!! Hilux Strengths Continue Over Generations — Built tough. Does what it says on the tin. Good torque from 3.0 D4D engine, not bad fuel economy despite 4-speed automatic transmission. Brake could be stronger. Roomy interior with full leather seats and exceptional leg room in the rear. |

Utility Special — It's a 2.8 diesel engine.Great power,better than the new 3.0 from toyota (theysuck) it'sincredibly built! it's a toyota,need no more tosay but...it's targeted to quality and functionality...that makes it ugly. Bought the car forit's performance, durabilityand reliability plus the mileage.Pretty darn good and no problems so far. Wish it was more exciting though... |

New Toyota Hilux — Turbo Diesel, heaps of go and pulling power. Toyota realiability. Heaps of power to overtake and you don't have to drop it back to 4th. Great in the bush but could do with at least an inch more clearance other than that, perfect. Fuel consumption 10ltrs/100km aound town, 8.8ltrs/100km on highway. Pity diesel is a bit more expensive but really it is only $4.00 difference in the long run per tank. You can't even buy a schooner for that anymore. |
