Toyota Solara — Vehicle was purchased in Miami, Florida, from a dealer with only one previous owner prior to me. Car has been garage kept, excellent paint, interior is gorgeous, and gas mileage is amazing! Handles fantastic, and extremely comfortable for road trips, plenty of leg room, even for back seat passengers.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros

5SPD manual, alloy wheels, nice interior, coupe

Cons

rims could be bigger, no sunroof on my model

My Comfortable 5spd Coupe — The interior of the car has a lot of space for a coupe, seats are comfortable even though they are not leather, and all controls are placed well for the driver. The outside of the car is in Lunar Mist Metallic with 16" alloy wheels. Performance is good for an inline-4, especially with the help of a manual. I rated performance slightly lower since there are obviously much more powerful cars than this. Overall, its a great car, great on gas with the combo of a 4cylinder and manual, comfortable sport tuned suspension.

Pros

My wife wanted a convertible and I wanted reliability. This car was the best of both. Plus it had room for 4-people when needed. More room than the Mustang Convertible we tested. More reliable than the Saab 9-3 we looked at.

Cons

Cheap carpet. 6-cylinder is 3.3L and had it been upgraded with the rest of the Camry line, it would have had the 3.5L engine and not needed timing belt replacement at 90K miles. The tall rear makes seeing out about the same as most convertibles. Which means it could be better. This is the last version of the Camry Solara convertible. Production ended after the 07' model year.

Perfect Car For My Wife. — Looks great and my wife loves to drive it. She plans on keeping it forever. Especially since they no longer make it. Smooth transmission. Quick enough and even faster if you put in premium or mid-grade fuel. Paddle shifting the floor shifter is kind of fun for a couple of minutes. Cheap seat fabric on the SE. Carpet is thin too. Dash no longer gets any Armor All because the shine reflects off of the steeply raked windshield.

Pros

Stylish curves and contours...comfy and contemporary interior. Beautiful wood grain selection!

Cons

Battery is garbage...but to be fair, the issues began recently.  First couple of years were greeeat! How long is a battery supposed to last anyway? :o/

My Beautiful Baby!!! — While I love my Sexy Solara I've been having problems with the battery. Everything else is great!! Look at her...now you want one don't you?! In this you can handle any curve like a pro!
