Pros

lots of aftermarket parts if you want to waste your money.

Cons

noise, build quality

I Hated My Wrx — Noisy, noisy, noisy... This car is heavy and slow from the box. With all this weight I'd expect it to be a hell of a lot more quiet inside. After 800 miles I had rattles from the dash, covered under warranty, only to rattle again. I found that little boys and teenagers loved the car, whilst my peer group frowned and acted like I was a juvenile.

Dream Come True... — This car has been a dream to own, literally. I put a pic of this car on my wall when it was first brought over to the US and wanted one since before that. The performance is unbelievable. It handles great, and the DCCD is a awesome feature. With 300/300 power at the crank it's fast from factory with a stong 6-speed tranny. Stock stereo sucks, but that doesn't really matter. The '05 has the best looks in my opinion, just needs a few exterior mods to look ideal (like the rear vane and rear diffuser of the '06-'07 and the JDM side spats). Gas mileage is not that bad since its only a 2.5L 4 banger (I have averaged about 21 mpg since I got the car in January).

The Car Is Amazing In Every Way. — The car is so fun to drive. I've had it since july of '10 and am in love. When you push the noisy pedal above 3k the thing takes off like a rocket. below 3k it feels like a roller coaster as you slowly creep up to the big drop. You know whats about to happen and you just wait in excitement the the turbo spools and your off. its the best feeling. the 2.5 liters give you plenty of low end out of boost grunt for daily driving as well. Fuel economy is okay. Its not the best but its to be expected of a car like this. I managed 25 mpg on the highway. The hardest part is keeping your foot out of it.

Pros

Exilerating driver even if you're in cruise control on the freeway.
Rarely a dull moment, and handles every weather situation wonderfully.

Cons

Not enough roads to really let you use the car like it's built to be used.
Stop and Go traffic is extremely frustrating!

Subaru Wrx Sti, Not For The Modest Driver But The Driver That Is Driven. — I would buy this car again and again. However there is always a time to pass the torch on and allow someone else to embrace pure thrill. The car handles the road exceptionally well. When I initially was purchasing this car it was between this and an S2000. I am happy I went with the STi. AWD, 4 door, more power, better body style.

Cons

05 Sti User Review — Accelerates, Brakes, and handles like no other on the track stock. Looks very aggressive so you have to be aware of cops at all times for even going 5 over. Gas mileage is about 19 city/ havent done any highway driving. It is the best vehicle I have ever driven and its known for its safety.

Its A Very Nice And Good Car. — The car is very cool and very fun to drive. It has plenty of power and doen't lack on performance at all. The tinted windows are very nice not just so no one can look in but for the sun also. This car never let me down.

Pros

Awesome power and torque. Great steering feel and overall handling. AWD and limited slip differentials make the STI a tank in the snow.

Cons

Rides like a race car. Standard rattles associated with Subarus and other Japanese cars.

Winter Weapon — A WRB STI was my boyhood dream car and it hasn't disappointed me! It's an absolute weapon in the snow and a blast to drive in all conditions. The engine has a good amount of power and the transmission is perfect. Smooth engagement, short throw and bomb-proof build quality. Engine has the performance of a supercar but the reliability of an econobox. Highly recommend to anyone looking for powerful all-year-round car.

Pros

Loved this car. Bought it as our first family car. Put a smile on everyone's face every time we walked up to it.

Cons

Only problem, as family grew, we needed a bigger car/van. And to be fair, I didn't like some of the standard features (brakes) and upgraded to the STi/SPT parts.

Great Car — great car to commute to work or take out fro a joy ride on the weekends. suttiable for a small family., very limited leg room in the back as well as trunk space. as far as the front seats go very comfortable. I would not like to sit in the seats for a long period of time though. all around great car.

2005 Impreza Sti — I almost bought this car because of the diff. and glad I did not because it is absolutely no fun to drive, and a hell of fuel consumption, sorry 4wd fans :)
