Great Car — the performance of the car is great. i have had a tone up the car and that was all. the appearance of the car is nice. the cost of owning the car is reasonable. the fun factor of the car is that you can use the car to haul a lot of belongings.

Vibes Are Fun — Multipurpose! You can put just about anything in this car. I'm amazed what will fit despite it's small size. It is large enough for me to drive comfortably. MPG is good. The quality of materials and assembly appears solid. Nimble enough to be fun to drive. Just a great all-around vehicle.

Pros

I'm constantly recommending the Pontiac Vibe to my friends. In fact, my fiancee was always turning his nose up at the Vibe until I let him drive it. He has since began looking into buying one of his own!!

Cons

The biggest thing I can honestly say I 'hate' about this car is that there no longer is a Pontiac and thus, I will never be able to enjoy purchasing a brand new one. However, since it was made in cooperation with Toyota, the Matrix is a very close, yet slightly more expensive cousin to the Vibe.

I Hope To Be Able To Keep And Maintain This Car For The Next 12 Years And Pass It On To My Daughter! — This car has proven to be a dream! There is no lag in the acceleration or breaking. In fact, the acceleration can even be a bit touchy at times if you're not used to it. It comes with automatic traction control, but even when you turn it off, it still handles like a dream. In the few years that I've owned it I've only had to perform standard maintenance. It was taken to the dealership once to have the PCM replaced due to a factory recall. The interior is clean and simple with black leather seats. The exterior is a matching clean and basic in a bright red. It gets great gas mileage and the cost of maintenance has been little to none other than oil changes, filters and breaks. I love this car! It's functional and pet friendly with the plastic rear cargo space. The front passenger seat folds down, a feature which my daughter loves because she can feel like she's in the front seat while still safely secured in her booster.

Pros

Fun to drive & super reliable.  toyota quality!

Cons

seats not as ergo or comfy as Saab, BMW & audis previously owned, but trumped by toyota reliability!

Reliable Affordable Fun & Practical — I love the engine in this car & all the cargo capacity. It is the only car I know of that has an AC outlet for your laptop or dvd player making it perfect for road trips! front passenger & rear seats fold flat to sleep in or carry up to an 8 foot step ladder inside with all doors & windows closed! Ingenious car! Toyota Matrix clone rebadged "VIBE"

Nice Basic Car — Good car although cosmetically having a few issues for only being 6 years old. Highly recommend. Has motor and transmission from Toyota. 30 MPH. Perfect for basic transportation. 72000 miles and has a nice sporty appearance. I will never sell.

2005 Pontiac Vive — This was a good car. I loved it very much. Had pretty good gas mileage for the type of car it was. It got approximately 26 city/ 32 highway. It had an awesome amount of cargo capacity: 49 cubic feet with rear seats folded down. I used it many times for work and moving. Great car. Pretty fun to drive and I just loved it!

Cons

Slightly harsh and noisy ride on most roads

Vibe — It's a sporty looking four door with cargo space, american model badging but a toyota drive train (motor and transmission) - which means it'll run for a long time and not get key'ed in my home town that builds GMC trucks. The cargo space is lined with hard plastic to keep it easy to clean, fold down the seats and you have enough room for an 8' ladder with the hatch closed. The motor and tranny are the same as the Toyota Corola. A peppy four cylinder sips gas at 33MPG highway and with a five speed manual - still lets you wind it out to the 6500 RPM redline quickly. Overall I like this car. It's not my favorite, but not close to getting rid of it even at 79K miles have ticked by.

Cons

Pontiac Vibe Rock And Rolls — very good car but now I have given it to my daughter. The car was well worth its money however it was pretty small. My husband works at the dealership so I always get a good deal and my concerns are taken care of. After all my salesman has to live with me!!!

Cons

Knees bang the tilt steering

Vibe — Its good on gas, and has a lot of compartments for change and other personal effects. Extremely spacious. The back seat folds down giving you more room to haul items. The hatch has a lot of space already though. The vibe is speedy however, you need to watch the gas pedal closely, you tend to speed with ease. Takes corners like a dream. Nice car, great on gas... what more could you ask for.

Weeee! — I love the Vibe, so good on gas, about 35 mpg, I've gotten two speeding tickets in it in the past month, if I get one more I'm going to have to go back to the truck :/ comfy back seats, OD off or on option, and a remote starter!
