Reliable, Solid car. Brakes work well and handles and rides easily.

Cons

Speakers could be better and the parts could be cheaper :P

I Love This Car — Even with it's flaws and the damage I dealt to this car, it's been so reliable and it's great on gas. I couldn't ask for anything more. Now it's no Firebird but it's pretty freaking fast if you drive it the right way.

Cost Effective Reliable Car — Excellent car - model will go 200,000+ miles, No problems, performed in weather from -25 deg F to 101 deg F, handles well in all road types and weather conditions, fuel efficient (avg 30 MPG) but fun to drive on short and long trips.

Pros

Looks cool.
Good fuel economy.

Cons

Low on power.

Could Be Better, Could Be Worse. — The acceleration leaves something to be desired, but you can't really expect much from an inline 4. The look of the car, along with the fuel economy, make it really desireable.

Cons

Engine Power

A Good Second Car Or "starter" Car For The Responsible Teen — A very economic, "responsible" car. LOVED the paint job - electric blue metallic. Four cylinder was hard to get used to...not much "get up and go," but never had a single engine problem in the two years that I owned. Great car for the money, and overall great money saver.

Pros

Different look but has a sporty kinda style, possibilities endless, DOMESTIC!!!!

Cons

no longer made... replaced with the pontiac G5... didn't come stock with the supercharger like the Cobalt SS... even though same motor...

Great Car For The Price — I was looking for an older honda when the car salesman showed me this car... So I test drove it and was surprised. I just knew it wasn't going to be any kind of show car... but it was good on gas and peppy.... 3 years later.. I have to take back what I said. The 2.2L ECOTEC motor that was put into this 05 sunfire has alot of options.... turbos, superchargers, and the block is the same one used in all the major pontiac compact sports cars it can handle up to ~1000 HP.

Great First Car — I loved my sunfire. She's wrecked now. But she was great while I had her. Put a cold air intake on and sports tires which improved the feel of the car. Fairly cheep to fix and maintain. All around great first car.

Pros

This car is very dependable - it always starts and is not affected by the weather - even if it's below freezing it starts right up.  It is very clean - it was professionally detailed this week - very nice.  I changed the brake shoes and put in new floor mats last week, and changed the oil as that was due anyway.  The car is very quick, and will pass into a tight spot even on the highway at 70+ mph.  The mileage is fantastic as this car has the eco-tech engine and 5 forward gears.  The stereo is really good with 2 front and 2 rear speakers and 50 watts on 4 channels.

Cons

I think it would be uncomfortable for more than 5 adults.

Very Nice, Clean, And Dependable. This Car Always Starts And Everything Works. — I really like the way this car drives - it is a good, sure start and they used very good steel - it feels very solid - doesn't blow around like a lot of the more recent model cars. I was suprised at how quick it is - you can really get in and out of traffic. I particularly like the fog lights - it seems like great visibility even when there is no fog. Over all a really great, dependable car.

Pros

Super dependable - 5 days outside below freezing - still started immediately.  Fantastic mileage - eco-tech engine.  Clean - professionally detailed - new floor mats - even the motor is clean.  Fast - excellent for passing.

Cons

I think more than 5 adults would be uncomfortable.

Very Nice, Clean, And Dependable. — This car is really dependable - it has no problems with cold weather - starts quickly and always. There are some minor scratches, but overall the appearance is very nice. It is especially cool with the fog lights on. If you're on the highway and need to pass with a tight opening, it never fails to get you in. Great acceleration which really suprised me at first. I put new brake shoes on it a couple of weeks ago. It is a nice car to work on for the regular maintenance - very easy. It has very good steel too, i feel very safe in it - feels solid. Looks a bit futuristic and sporty. Stereo is nice with front and rear speakers, and plays CD's.

Cons

Bottom Line.. Its A Pontiac What Else Is There — Performance - This car performs like any pontiac should. Corners well, accels nice, stops when I want it too. Build Quality well it would be great BUT GM put the L61 junk eco tec in it and it burnt a valve so I have replace the engine.. Appearance Sporty.. Cost is Resonable.. Best of all its fun

Love My Sunfire — Very peppy and economical, easy to drive and it looks great and sporty, cheap to buy and run, build quality could be better and some design aspects aren't the best but definitely satisfied with my Pontiac and would purchase again.
