Love My Sunfire — Very peppy and economical, easy to drive and it looks great and sporty, cheap to buy and run, build quality could be better and some design aspects aren't the best but definitely satisfied with my Pontiac and would purchase again.

Pros

Different look but has a sporty kinda style, possibilities endless, DOMESTIC!!!!

Cons

no longer made... replaced with the pontiac G5... didn't come stock with the supercharger like the Cobalt SS... even though same motor...

Great Car For The Price — I was looking for an older honda when the car salesman showed me this car... So I test drove it and was surprised. I just knew it wasn't going to be any kind of show car... but it was good on gas and peppy.... 3 years later.. I have to take back what I said. The 2.2L ECOTEC motor that was put into this 05 sunfire has alot of options.... turbos, superchargers, and the block is the same one used in all the major pontiac compact sports cars it can handle up to ~1000 HP.

Pros

Super dependable - 5 days outside below freezing - still started immediately.  Fantastic mileage - eco-tech engine.  Clean - professionally detailed - new floor mats - even the motor is clean.  Fast - excellent for passing.

Cons

I think more than 5 adults would be uncomfortable.

Very Nice, Clean, And Dependable. — This car is really dependable - it has no problems with cold weather - starts quickly and always. There are some minor scratches, but overall the appearance is very nice. It is especially cool with the fog lights on. If you're on the highway and need to pass with a tight opening, it never fails to get you in. Great acceleration which really suprised me at first. I put new brake shoes on it a couple of weeks ago. It is a nice car to work on for the regular maintenance - very easy. It has very good steel too, i feel very safe in it - feels solid. Looks a bit futuristic and sporty. Stereo is nice with front and rear speakers, and plays CD's.

Great Car — I have had my 05 Pontiac since 2/2009. Love it. It has given me no problems until now. Cute, fun to drive. System sounds great, easy to drive, handles well and looks great driving down the road. would recommend

Cons

Its too damn small for a 6 foot 5 guy. Seats are junk.

05 Sunfire — Overall its a decent car for the price. But you get what you pay for, interior is cheap, both seat backs are busted in some way, It has good power for its size, and is cheap to maintain since i do all my own work.

Pros

This car is very dependable - it always starts and is not affected by the weather - even if it's below freezing it starts right up.  It is very clean - it was professionally detailed this week - very nice.  I changed the brake shoes and put in new floor mats last week, and changed the oil as that was due anyway.  The car is very quick, and will pass into a tight spot even on the highway at 70+ mph.  The mileage is fantastic as this car has the eco-tech engine and 5 forward gears.  The stereo is really good with 2 front and 2 rear speakers and 50 watts on 4 channels.

Cons

I think it would be uncomfortable for more than 5 adults.

Very Nice, Clean, And Dependable. This Car Always Starts And Everything Works. — I really like the way this car drives - it is a good, sure start and they used very good steel - it feels very solid - doesn't blow around like a lot of the more recent model cars. I was suprised at how quick it is - you can really get in and out of traffic. I particularly like the fog lights - it seems like great visibility even when there is no fog. Over all a really great, dependable car.

Bottom Line.. Its A Pontiac What Else Is There — Performance - This car performs like any pontiac should. Corners well, accels nice, stops when I want it too. Build Quality well it would be great BUT GM put the L61 junk eco tec in it and it burnt a valve so I have replace the engine.. Appearance Sporty.. Cost is Resonable.. Best of all its fun

Well Not Worth The Price Or Even Owning In General — As a daily driver around town, this car is great. Has amazing power for having just a little 4 cyl in it. You can never find any part you need in any shops, so you end up having to order everything offline (and even then it’s extremely hard to find anything). Sadly though, everything seems to be cheaply made… and the outside… the smallest thing, makes the BIGGEST dent.

Sexy. "pumpkin Flake" — Love the colour. metallic orange, Gold windows. magnaflow exhaust package,GF-Chip, Surge Turbonator Intake. Orange Racing Buckets, In dash Dvd, GPS EASE, Alpine Component system with Amp, Dual 8" sub. carbon fibre roof scoop.and an ebrake fit for the dirt track. It hasnt broken down, I'v broken it down. one front bumper every winter, but i rally race places a sunfire shouldnt go...in town they've called it a "stuck fire" . KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT A 4 BANGER LIKE MINE? I'll be there in 2.2. I named her Pumpkin Flake because in the winter the snow on the hood melts to the frame structure beneath giving the appearance of a Jack o Lantern

It's A Good Buy. — Love this car. Haven't had any problems thus far. Perfect handling, and no problems as far as brakes go. Gas mileage is alright, maintenance isn't bad. I love the way it looks, inside and out. Most importantly it is absolutely a fun car to drive in my opinion.
