ProsExotic car performance for 1/3 of the price Consbetter stereo would be nice as well as a better clutch from the factory...I did change that however

A Head Turner! Just Be Prepared To Drop A Little Dough And Enjoy It! — The color is awesome and I choose it because it was limited for how many cars they decided to put it on. Looks sharp even after being 3+ years old. I just love the aggressive look of the car. It's simple looking but the front of the car demands respect if you're into the import market. Performance out of the factory is solid however with a little bit more cash under the hood with the right tune...you create an animal that could keep up with vettes, vipers, and ferrari's. It's a little pricey to maintain however if you learn to do some things yourself it can save you a ton of cash plus you learn that way. And I've just never driven any other car that just constantly puts a smile on my face. I'm also an attetion whore so it's a perfect match. Anyone who is into cars can appreciate the enthusiasm!

Pros300horse power, great breaks, loves corners ConsBad clutch, paint peels off wing, service people try to void warranties

2005 Mitsubishi Evolution Viii — Great overall car. Fast, uber sporty and attracts attention. The main thing with this car is the clutch and paint. Factory clutches were paper thin and is recommended to upgrade to at least a stage 3 clutch. Watch for paint peeling off the carbon fiber wing. When taken in for normal service, technicians look for any signs of abuse to void your warranty. Even garage kept, Sunday cruisers like mine were blacklisted for warranty repairs.

2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR Review
ProsAwesome Handling, Excellent in snow, Phenomenal Front Seats, Reliable, Gobs of Power Potential. Lots of tech for the buck. Great Brakes. Super Fun. ConsDidn't have any negative experiences, these cars rock! But if I had to nit-pick something it would have to be the noise. The motor doesn't sound great and theirs barely any sound insulation so you get a fair amount of road and wind noise, but then again it's designed to be light weight and quick not quiet and refined.

All Weather Pocket Rocket — These little cars, although not cheap to buy new, are phenomenal cars. Very mod friendly if done correctly. One of the best handling cars made that can hang with most exotics if the power is increased. Great all weather daily driver. An overall fun car to own. There's something to owning a car like this. You're not as anal about it as you would be a German or Italian exoctic and so you tend to drive the wheels off it which is fun. I used to love driving up mountain roads and catching guys on sports bikes or even more exotic sports cars and they can't get away from you. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Decent Car If You Have The Money To Operate It — Quick car. Very fun to drive. Engine froze up not more than 2 months after owning the car. While i had it the handling, acceleration, and top speed were really good. Going to cost a pretty penny to repair but once it is. it will be a keeper again Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

By Far The Best Car I Have Ever Driven, Owned, Played With... Outclasses Everything — Performance: Accel - launching this car is like being pinned to back of the seat and not being able to move till you let off the gas pedal. braking - Brembo, speaks for its self handling - its a production race car ... so much time, money and research has gone into this car .. and with 20 years in RD, they have got it down. handles better than any car i have driven Build Quality: - one of the most solid cars ive ever seen .. its built to be driven ... and as long as you maintain it .. itll keep up Appearance: Interior - not why i bought the car... it was to perform .. the factory racing seats, racing steering wheel, awesome sound system all do exactly what they need to do Exterior - the fender flairs .. wide stance, Enkie/BBS rims, wing HID headlights, Hood vent, front mount intercooler in your face... all scream aggressive, style and most of all function Cost - gas - its a turbo car.. has perks ... its a 2.0l engine drive it normal gets great mileage, and with a tune can get better then most.. however.. you tune it to race and make big power .. till get the mileage to go along with it Maintenance - its a performance car... meant to be build and thrashed .. keep it stock and itll run forever esp if you keep up with everything .. does require premium gas, synthetic oils, and needs to be done and kept up with but a great car Fun Factor - this is what sold me on the car ..and the insane potential it has .. the bang for buck is unbeatable Primary Use: Commuting to work

Its An Evo, That Basically Says It All. — The fastest car I've owned and by far the most fun. Gas mileage is horible if your really getting on it, but if you just driving "normal" its not that bad. If you want a fun car that will throw you back in your seat and take corners like a beast, buy one. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
