Pros

The v-8 gets as much as 29 miles per gallon on the highway!  Super comfortable , very fast, elegant.

Cons

Expensive to maintain.

Wife Pleaser! — Excellent vehicle for long trips. Fast, reliable car with great gas milage. But once a year it needs maintenance that usually costs $1000 per visit to the dealer if nothing is wrong. Mercedes headquarters will not back an owner if a dispute arises involving a warrantee claim.

Fast 4 Door Sedan - Lots Of Money And No Awd — Test drove this car last year. Never bought it as it was simply too much money for a sedan. The performance was, however, impressive. Quick acceleartion, tight steering, very elegant interior. The real draw-back was that it did not have all wheel drive and costs a fortune. For less money and with all wheel drive (if you live where it snows), you can get an Audi Rs6 or a carrera 4s - much more fun to drive and both have all wheel drive.

Pros

Totally trouble free. This car has been as reliable as my Honda (no small feat!). 36MPG on the highway at 70 mph. Quiet, passengers have no idea it is a diesel. Performance is better than the gasoline version of the same car.

Cons

Just I can say nothing bad about it.

Best Car In World — Initially , i use to be a big fan of Audi as i owned one , heavy weight and great dynamics i thought could not get better than Audi. But once i sat in E500 i just loved interior and bought it without second thought. It never turned down my expectations. Once i was driving in New England Storm i took exit for gas and got stuck in 3 foot snow. But i now my merc can handle it like nothing , i switched to Sport mode and press the pedal it jumped of the heavy snow like a tiger everybody around just baffled as they shoveling hard to get their car out of snow. I can drive 50 miles an hour on ramps like nothing

2005 Mercedes-benz E-class E320 Wagon — I bought this used car as a cheap and cheerful load-lugger for shopping, baby commuting etc. It has far exceeded my expectations, with a very high level of factory options. The engine bay is as new, and just about everything on the car worked perfectly despite having lead a fairly tough life before my ownership. I have had to change engine and transmission mounts and a few bushes under the car, but otherwise it has been faultless for such a high mileage car.

Amazing Supercar Sedan — A powerful beast, very rare to find , the supercharged motor growls everytime you touch the gas, fully loaded tons of features. I highly recommend any one to buy an e55, only cons it has is the cost to maintain still highly recommended.

Cons

Gas mileage

Fantastic Car — 5 sec from 0-go, excelent brakes... not so good on corners... but ESP makes its work. Excelent build quality, never had any repairs, and it does not have any squeaks or rattles. Supreme styling in and out The gas mileage is a bit high... and services also Extremely fun to drive...

Pros

Fast luxury sport

Cons

I am going to have to put new motor mounts on the vehicle again second time

Luxury Sport — I love my E500 great power/speed. You have the luxury when needed. Great overall car. Just have to do your routine maintenance of normal wear and tear parts. If not it will break down. Certain parts are designed to eventually wear out because of the high speeds.

Great Looks, ridiculous Power. — I like the sound of this car, the looks are classic and this particular year . It was the most powerful car I've ever driven. You shouldn't ever need all the power it can deliver but it's there if you ever do . I can't really think of anything I dislike except it takes premium gas but if it didn't I would be surprised.

Best Car Ever I Own It. — This car handles great and has been very reliable compare to what others have written about it. It has very good acceleration, gas mileage is decent and the interior/exterior design is fantastic. I love it. Again Best Car so far for 2014

Great German Engineering — The car as a lot of torque when you need it. Handles like no other sedan and ride is by far the best out there. You can set it for a sport ride which is very tight or a soft ride that lets car float going down the road. Very roomy inside for 4 adults plenty of leg and headroom. Trunk is 1 of the biggest in this class of car.
