I Love My Mini Cooper — I love my MINI. It truly is a great little racecar and my daily driver.... shake n bake. I have made really good friends through my car and I can't beleive where it's taken me. Her name is Huny... and all MINIs have names

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Fun Car Not A Daily Driver. — the performance is good, I've done 110 on the track. quick braking, solid handling. Needs TLC, not to be road hard. Repairs cost me about 6k a year. Everything must go through the dealer so you pay top dollar for everything. overall the quality is so/so, I've had leaks in the sunroof, fan failures, computer glitches, stalls, you name it. you can't beat the look of the car, inside and out it is a good looking car. sporty and classy. The best part about the car is the other owners, 3 years and we still wave at each other.

Pros

since the car has a small backseat, most people think of it as a 2 seater; therefore, i don't get asked for many rides.

Cons

somehow, after rain or condensation, i always manage to be wearing it if i have the window open.  it's really annoying.

Minis Are Too Much Fun. You Might Not Be Able To Handle It! — i love my mini! i don't think i could even drive another car. she handles like a champ and "corners like she's on rails". They are moderately priced, prior to add all the "extras". bobbing and weaving in traffic was never so much fun before purchasing my mini, sonshyne. :) i love attention, and my car and i certainly get it!

Great 3 Season Car, Almost Worth Suffering Thru The Winter In The Northland For It. — Purrs like a kitten until you step on it, then roars like a tiger and skats like a cat. Unbelievable fun drive. Top down in 50 degree weather at highway speeds, no problem! Quiet, agile, and confortable even for big guys.

Love My Mini — This car still makes me smile every time I see it, and every time I drive it. Yes it runs on Premium, but that tank lasts me 2.5 weeks vs every week with my previous F150. I can't recommend the MINI enough. Love it!

Small, Sporty And I Can Even Use This Car For Kid Carpool. — Great gas mileage...just a bit to small for real estate needs. Fun to drive! Accelerates like a dream, parking in Green Lake area is never a problem (fits anywhere). Really pretty mini...silver with tinted windows, moon roof AND sunroof.

Pros

It's so fun to drive. Just like a Go-Kart.

Cons

Repairs

It's Super Fun To Drive, And Most Don't Mess Up Like Mine Has. — It has had really bad luck and I've had to replace the transmission (on a stick shift!!), clutch, some belts, and this other thing that cost $400. This car is super fun to drive! Gets really good gas mileage, downside is that it takes premium..

Maintenance can be expensive if you have NO knowledge about auto repair.

Love It!! — Performance - I couldn't ask for more in terms of this. The car is small with wheels at each corner of the car, so the handling is like a go-kart, acceleration is brisk, brakes are excellent. Build Quality - I have to say that the build quality is good, but as you can also find in online forums, there are lots of little things that break often, such as the hydraulic engine mount and PS pump fan. The major parts seem to be quite sturdy though Appearance - Even after being on the market for nearly a decade, the Mini Cooper still turns heads and most people love it. Interior is quirky but practical and ergonomic. Cost of Ownership - This depends on how you drive. Cooper S I think are made to be driven hard (LOL) so fuel economy isn't THAT great on my car, perhaps around 25 mpg. Maintenance isn't too expensive compared to other European cars. Oil change seems costly at around 100 dollars, but they only have to be done once every 13000 miles or so. Fun Factor: I am pretty sure I don't have to write anything about this.
