2005 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 Trim Overview

The 2.5L sedan would discontinued after 2005, and all future X-Types would house the 2.0 liter V-6.  The 2.5 liter unit provides 191 horsepower, which is enough to get the mid-size sedan from 0 to 60 mph in under eight seconds.  A five-five manual transmission is standard here, but the five-speed automatic is optional.

This entry-level Jaguar is fairly well-equipped for its comparatively low sticker price.  Standard features include leather upholstery, wood trim, steering wheel audio controls, automatic climate control, keyless entry, an Alpine audio system and heated power mirrors.  Options include a navigation system, a moon roof, and the Sport enhancement package.
