Pros

Great ride, comfortable, easy to get in and out, tight turning radius, cargo space, 8 passenger

Cons

air conditioner has had issues (2 times 2 years apart - rear condenser and then evaporator core), hard to balance tires, had fuel pump issues (dealer said bad gas, but  research showed an issue with the fuel pump that I believe was my issue), DVD player failed after 4 years (extended warranty replaced), both control arm bushings cracked (extended warranty replacement)

Versatile Local And Highway ( For Trips) Cruiser — I really enjoy this minivan, even with it's issues. It is comfortable, drives like a car, great turning radius, responsive engine, smooth transmission.. For my purposes, it has and continues to be an easy vehicle to drive. I am not one for buying extended warranties, but since I decided to buy and keep this van, I rolled the dice and invested in an 84 month / 100,000 mile AAA (Mercury Insurance) extended warranty ($1,500)..and it paid for itself after the first air conditioner repair and DVD player replacement .

Great Van — Safe, Fun, Family transportation with rear seat luxury. Lots of power with good gas mileage. Third row seat is actually useful and comfortable. Lots of space for hauling all the kids gear. Great in every way except soccer mom image.

I Plan To Keep It For 10 Years. — I like just about everything about this Odyssey. It performs almost like a sports car and will haul a mountain of stuff. The seats are comfortable, it has all amenities, will carry seven adults in comfort, and routinely gets 25 mpg on trips running at 70-75 mph.

Very Good — This van is great overall. Good on gas, Great on performance and well manner on the road. Only draw back is factory brakes. I up grade to cross drills and the stopping power is now as sharp as that of a sport car. Love it!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great, Wouldn't Hesitate To Refer To Anyone — It is powerful, smooth, very tight turning radius. Miles above the Pontiac Montana we traded it for. Looking to own it for a long time. Love the dual power doors. Going to put a sunroof in it someday. Glad to have cloth and not leather interior.

Honda Odyssey — I really like the configuration of the seats in this van. It's served us well with three kids and lots of stuff to bring on road trips. Low maintenance fees and okay gas mileage (can't complain). Overall this is a great choice for our family.

How I Grew To Love My Odyssey. — I was dragged from a 5 speed SAAB Wagon when I couldn't get the 3 car seats buckles across the backseat anymore. At first I hated the minivan. I couldn't hear what my kids wqere saying. I couldn't reach the seat when they dropped soemthing. I couldn't reach a knee to soothe someone. But then I took one of the middle seats out and made it a living o=room. We sat ont he floor and had picnis - watched movies and ate popcorn. We stretched out and used it as a room - a room on wheels. Once I cuaght on to how to use this car as a holding zone then my attitiude towards it got better. For a living room, the ride quality is absolutely amazing. For a multi-media room the mileage is just fine about 19-20 mpg. Braking is solid. Build quality is better than most. Doesn't feel like my SAAB - but SAABs now don't feel like my SAAB. The Odyssey is far and away the best designed mini-van. So for what it is, I absolutely love it. Would I rather be driving a 5 speed anything - you bet - but that won't be for awhile.
