2005 GMC Safari 3 Dr SLT AWD Passenger Van Extended Trim Overview

Focused on both family comfort and cargo utility, the 2005 GMC Safari SLT AWD Passenger Van adds more road assurance with an all-wheel drive system that comes with a limited slip center differential and optional locking rear differential.  Automatic headlights, dual front airbags, daytime running lights, and 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes are standard and earn five stars in side impact crash ratings.  Frontal impact gets three stars in the 2005 Safari SLT AWD.  Engine power is a 4.3-liter, 190-hp V6 and 4-speed auto tran with tow/haul mode.  

The SLT is well outfitted with full power features, including a power driver's seat, cruise control, leather trim, a CD player with front and rear audio controls, keyless entry, rear climate control, a security system, trip computer, front and rear intermittent wipers, and front and overhead consoles.  A passenger side manual sliding door and dual rear doors with a fixed window are standard, but a Dutch door with independent rear window is available.  Rear seats can be removed for up to 170 cubic feet of cargo space, and the standard roof rack adds more room.  A trailer hitch is optional, as are reclining rear seats, running boards, and leather upholstery.
