Pros

Huge and easily accesible compartment space, room for adults on all seats.

Cons

Small rear-view mirrors and rear windows makes it difficult to reverse. Weight.

Perfect For The Mid-size Family — When coming from the Golf-segment cars (I had a Renault Megane before) this car feels much bigger. Not only in the exterior dimensions (the car is 480 cm long) but also the interior. The front seats suits tall people (I am 185cm), the leg room is fantastic, even the rear seats suits adults. But the cars real selling point is the compartment space. It is huge, easily accesible and very square. The 115hp turbo diesel engine is responsive but it does not make the car a rocket. I would say that it is adequate (unless someone gives me a good offer on a tuning kit :-))

Perfect For The Money You Can Get Them For Now! — 2005 Ford Mondeo 3.0 V6 Ghia X. Primarily used to get to work, big engine = loads and loads of power! Brought brand new in 2005 from a Ford dealer and never sold it, Leather seats have got a bit worn over the years but that happens with most cars. Very cheap to run for a 3.0. The Ghia means it top spec and it lives up to its name!

Pros

Mpg, Reliability

Cons

Not 'German' brand name

Reliable And Simple — The performance is good for a 2.2 tdci, the brakes just about rip your face off if you press hard enough and it goes down country lanes similarly quickly to my c63. The one way of keeping this car in good running order is to every month sit down and get out your screwdrivers. This car needs attention regulary but if you do this it will never go wrong. It likes getting thrashed as the mpg goes up the faster you go.

Family Load Lugger — Family car that's built to take as much crap in it as you can chuck at it. Cool thing - self levelling suspesnion.................................. Its all about the driver. Peformance - slow acceleeration Top speed -125 - proved!!!! Build - alright till stuff goes wrong like turbo pipes/ Fun Factor - don't corner to bad and back end will go out but rather scary as so big !!!

Pros

Everything

Cons

The brand association

Mondeo 2005 — Love the power and the ride and the stereo and the gadgets and the price and the reliability and the seats and the economy and the boot and the price. The driving experience is really good fun and the suspension cushions you on on long journeys and is more sporty feeling on country roads.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Mondeo St220 — St200 - Quick, Good handling and comftable with good levels of equipment and room for 5 adults, Having owned it for about a year never missed a beat. Very fun car to drive on the twistys and relaxing on the motorways, only bad thing is the fuel consuption, but hey its a 3.0 V6

My Mondeo — Nice car! it has a nice acceleration with its 130hk diesel and a top build quality. the design of the car is also wery nice, straight lignes and modern tegnoligy is all over the car. I bought my car in Silkeborg for 230000kr wich were cheap fore that kind of car.

Pros

Great engine - great handeling - great noise!

Cons

Not really any - maybe a bit anonymous, but that's not really a problem.

The Only Mondeo That Makes Sense Has Got A V6 - Just Like Mine...! — The best of two worlds - a great cruiser, but also pretty good on small, twisty roads in low gears and high revs. And nobody really expects a Mondeo to be fast, so you can really surprise people. And the sound...at low revs. it sounds like a bear snoring - but then, when the pedal to the right is engaged it sounds like you've trodden on a sleeping bear, it roars!
