Great Family Vehicle by Sean
 — I have enjoyed owning the car. Was a little worried about the AWD from a few horror stories (which you see about any car) but have not had one issue with the car in the first 36000 miles i've driven t... Read More

2005 Ford Freestyle

Here's a riddle for ya: what do you get when you cross a car with an SUV with a minivan with a wagon? The 2005 Ford Freestyle! Available as both a two-wheel and all-wheel drive car-though Ford states neigher is intended for off-roading-the Freestyle seeks to make its own space in a crowded mid-size market.

The only available engine is a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 203 horsepower. The interior is spacious, with three rows of seating. The Freestyle is built on the same platform as the Volvo's S80, though with a significantly less luxurious feel, and a matching significantly less expensive price. The Freestyle isn't inexpensive, but it is not quite at Volvo levels yet.

All in all, a nice car that drives well in all weather.
