Not that many choices for performance mods.

Sporty Sedan — It's a good car for a family sedan. The engine comes stock 136hp, 2.0L Durtec 20, dual overhead cam inline 4. Handles pretty well on wet or dry roads. According to Car and Driver Mag. 0 - 60 is a respectible 7.9s.

The Vehical Is Okay...it Does Not Get The Preformance Ford Claims! — The Vehicle is Okay....could be alot better in many catagories... Gas Milage is the biggest loser...It gets far less miles per gallon of gasoline than Ford Claims...Is not as comfortable as Ford Claims. Car Is very Noisy...I have already had a serious front drive train problem that was fixed...Cars too new to have such problems...I only have 26560 miles on the speedometer....Unhappy about whole preformance.

No power anything on this trim level, but it's my cheap father's fault.

Good, Reliable Little Car, Unfortunately, I'm Just Borrowing It For Now. — It can get up and go, it's way faster than my Escort which is it's spiritual ancestor. I hate that Daddy bought it stripped.

Better Try From Ford — Another company car....nothing special, the build quality is Ok but not more than that. Still this device is only for moving from A to B purposes.

Volume that changes with speed. Not a bad car.

Well, nothing too bad, but does feel a bit cheap.

Your Basic Small Car. Nothing Too Special. — Only had it since May of 2006. Nothing broke yet... Relatively cheap feeling interior, but nothing that bad. Engine produces classic "cheap car 4 cylinder sound".

VERY LIGHT CAR. completely unreliable in new england snow.

:3 — i love this car. it's light, fun and odd. it has a different design that makes it ugly, but in the sense that it has personality. engine is kind of loud, but for such an american car, the focus ZX5 screams European.

Cheap, Reliable And Fun — very fun, reliable and cheap car. pretty sporty considering its entry class level and fun to look at. serious exterior design, and pretty basic interior. seats are good but it does get somewhat uncomfortable after some hours driving. engine performs superb and its very efficient. suspension is way too soft, under sporty driving conditions understeer is unacceptable. brakes are good, but fade quickly and have to be replaced every now and then. steering is precise and keeps you connected to road surface roughness. while responding well to sudden changes. (except for suspension)

Very Good Family Car — Very good family car. Roomy for the kids and the dog at the back. Not very impressed with it dying twice now on the side of the road. And no one seems to know what the problem is. Why is that fuse burning out!!!
