2005 Ford Focus ZX4 SE Review
ProsGreat looking car. Easy to fix and cost effective to own. ConsSmall car wit a bit of a noisy interior sound when driving

Very Worthy Car At Cost, Handling, And Durability. — The limited times I have driven it yet were a joy. I have made small fixes with this car and it runs like a dream. It's very low maintenance cost car which is also easy to fix even for the average car owner capabilities. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsIts not a bad car over all, very reliable, 29 MPG over all ConsIts a base model car so there isnt much to it

A Cheap Reliable Car Thats Ok All Around. — It gets ok gas mileage, its needs a few things done to it to be a better car but its been very reliable to me and i love it for that. It is a base model car so there is not much on the car to brake. Its performance for a commuting car is very nice i think. Primary Use: Commuting to work

2005 Ford Focus SE Wagon Review
ProsGreat gas mileage, lots of cargo space, very reliable, it's the perfect camping car. ConsLacks headrests in the back seat.

A Winner! — The Ford Focus Wagon has been a great car for me. I've successfully transported 3 kayaks and 4 bikes on camping trips. This car has good pick up, is responsive, and is fun to drive. A/C is ice cold! Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

2005 Ford Focus ZX3 S Review
ProsI love my basic, almost pimitively appointed 2005 Focus ZX3. I've run up and down the mountains in Colorado that is mostly only done by 4WD. I coasted down Pikes Peak in first gear and never even tapped my brakes. I've put plastic over the carpet and hauled 1/2 CU topsoil in the back. It's like a high MPG truck/mountain car for me. Consthe seats are not comfortable for long distance driving. If I really wanted to, I would go find a fully loaded focus in a salvage place and change out the seats. And add cruise control.

2005 Ford Focus SES Wagon Review
ProsGas Milage and storage space are great! ConsNot much for leg room in back.

05 Focus Wagon-a Nice Runner With Space For A Few Adventures — The 05 Focus Wagon SES is a good runner which features a hatchback and carrying rack on top making it a nice low cost high gas milage vehicle for short trip adventures. While it doesn't boast much for leg room in back it does have ample front let room. SES comes standard with leather steering wheel and shift cover and 5 disc in dash CD player. A nice car for a modest budget! Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsDecent handling, gas mileage and looks. Generally a good car ConsAlternator takes an act of congress to replace and if extremely costly

Decent Car But Replacement Of Common Bad Items Is Difficult And Costly — I bought my focus new in Ohio when I returned from Iraq in 2004 in the summer. It drove me to California, no problems, then made the trip to Texas a few yrs. later. The main issues I have had are the driver side door power mech went bad (dealer replaced, luckily still under warranty) And most recently, alternator went out. This is placed in such a diabolical position in the car that you must remove and move things you normally never would, and disconnect all the motor/tranny mounts and move it forward just to get the thing out. To boot, the replacement alternators are very expensive. If nothing breaks, this is a good car, but if something does, it will make you wish you had bout something else Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsGreat car Consnothing

One Of The Best Cars I Have Had — Great car all round, not realy a family car especially for long journeys as the back seat doesn't provide much movements for small adults and upwards. Never had a problem with it. its a very reliable car. I did at one stage have a consern about the breaks. In the mornings the breaks would grind as if metal on metal however I heard this is normal and the grinding cleared after a few kilometers. Primary Use: Family transportation
