Great Family Car — Love that its a family car that doesn't look like a minivan. I can fit three car seats side by side in backseat. Acceptable cargo space. Really loud on inside the cab on the highway. Gas mileage not what I would have hoped for

Pros

4WD is nice in snowy weather. Comfortable ride. Appearance design looked pretty good.Good interior layout. Good pick up, brakes, basics. Convenient height on rear hatch for loading/uloading

Cons

Awful sound system.  Had to replace right away. Front end has lots of plastic. Take this SUV off road at your own risk. Front quarter panel "popped off "twice. Took it to shop. They pushed it back into place and sent her out the door. That really makes one feel secure. Steering column tended to lock up periodically. Once had to call for service at home to get it moving again.

Great Idea. Mediocore Execution. Poor Mileage. — I kept it for five years, so obviously, it wasn't dreadful...but it never panned out to what I had hoped for. Good basic transportation, but for the money, you could do a lot better. Tended to blow fuses for no apparent reason- easy to change however.

My Ford Escape — Easy to drive and pretty good MPG on highway, also it very good for winter. Good power with it's V6 3.0L engine. Overall MPG combined is 20.9mpg. Easy in and out and looks great for a small SUV. I have taken this car for almost 83,000 miles and it still runs great.

My Escape — Love the cargo area. Great for hauling around Boxes of Avon for making deliveries and for moving. Like the 60/40 split back seat. Not bad gas mileage. All wheel drive kicks in automatically. (like that a lot)

Worst Vehicle Ever Purchased, Extreme Buyers Remorse — I honestly dislike everything about this car. my previous car was a Chrysler 300M 2001. It was an older car but it had features that newer vehicles don't even have. I miss the leather interior, moon/sun roof, bose stereo and speakers, automatic dimming rear view mirror, the wide wheel base. yes the car was a boat but it was good to me and the cost of maintenance was fair. I sold it because i was offered double what it was worth. I went to a big dealership in my area and they kind of pushed me into purchasing the Escape, I wasn't totally sold and after purchase I was informed that they needed to replace the rear differential and u-joint, both of which were replaced with used parts. I have had nothing but issues with the car ever since then. The dealership kept assuring me everything was "fine" and I had no need to worry, even after repeatedly expressing my concerns about the leaking diff. I may have just got really unlucky with my purchase but I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I Love Mine — It's a nice, practical car for all seasons. Costs more in gas than little cars, but it's worth it to have the security of a slightly larger car. It's not a huge SUV but it's enough for me and I like to drive it, it's my comfort zone.

All About The Escape — The escape has great performance. The build quality is awesome. My favorite part about it is the sun/moon roof, and that it holds 6 CD's. The car is fun to drive in the summer, because you can go out on a nice day with all the windows down and sunroof open. The gas mileage isn't very good, but its not bad. there are not many maintenance costs involved.

I Love It!!!!!1 — I love my SUV. Going from a little 4 cylinder to a 6 cylinder really does make a difference. When I push on the gas it goes. It was reasonably priced, mind you I got a wicked deal. The stereo in it is great. No need to upgrade that CD player.
