Adding 20 inches to the length gives you the Extended Van version of the 2005 Ford Econoline E-250 Cargo Van.  This means 309 cubic feet of cargo space, an increase of nearly 50 cubic feet over the regular van.  The rear-wheel drive 2005 Econoline E-250 Cargo Van Extended comes with a 4.8-liter, 225-hp V8 or optional 5.6 V8 that hits 255 and 350 lb-ft of torque.  Both come with a 4-speed automatic.  16-inch wheels, a front twin I-beam suspension and rear live axle suspension, 4-wheel ABS brakes, and dual front airbags are some of the performance and safety features.  A limited slip rear differential, daytime running lights, and running boards can be added.

The basic necessities are provided -- air conditioning, intermittent wipers, power steering, and a radio, but you'll pay extra for rear climate control (a second row bench can also be added to supplement the front bench), a CD player, cruise control, power features, remote entry, daytime running lights, and a security system.  Captain's chairs are available for the front row, and a manual sliding side door is also optional.  A trailer hitch helps with towing up to 7300 pounds.  Tough, sturdy, and powerful are highlights of the 2005 Econoline E-250 Cargo Van Extended, though some wish it had more features and better fuel economy.
