Pros

Great Engine, I love the Hemi. They should not have used the Champion Copper Spark Plugs since they were supposed to be replaced at 30,000 miles. I didn't realize this until 55,000 miles even though I went through emissions with no issues. I put in NGK Platinum plugs which I personally prefer.

Cons

Poorly designed Front end with the original Y-Configuration broke on the highway in a straight line. I had that "Death Wobble" that is posted everywhere for the first time. I Never panic so I didn't hit the brakes and coasted to the side of the road. I was towed afterward. Chrysler withheld the Recall information. I had to have the new T-Front end installed which I would have done myself but just in case I did pay the dealership. I was disappointed that Dodge/Chrysler Refused to pay for the failure. This created other damage.

Good Truck, Solid, Excellent 4wd — The original OEM tires were useless in the snow. I then put on the Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT's and I went through over 2 1/2 foot snow un-plowed back in 2011 and no other truck around could even keep up. I also like the manual linkage to go into 4WD versus the Electronic switches that I have seen fail in every brand. I can work on virtually anything and originally I did a lot of heavy towing. Fuel economy isn't great and the ride is stiff. Great turning radius. I had to replace the brakes a bit early by my standards at 55,000 miles but since I towed heavy with a lot of tongue weight the rear brakes were pretty much toast. I did price out stock brakes but found a great set on Ebay from Brake Overstock made by a Machine shop that had been in business since 1971. Drilled Slotted Rotors and Ceramic Pads for $315 shipped to my home. There is a recall out that I have not received yet on the air bags, I believe it was the Driver's side?? Really a Fast Fun truck. I run a few mods and surprise a lot of cars but I really have slowed down over the years and fuel costs too much.

I Enjoy It — I hate the trans (I loved my manual), but overall, its been a really good truck. Hauls my family and dog all over the place. Wish I had a large enough garage to fit it into! It's a good truck.

Very Strong And Dependable 4wd Truck! — I love my dodge. It has lasted a long time and has held up through it all. It is a bit on the heavy side but that makes it good for hauling/pulling. I've moved 3 times and having this truck came in handy.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Eye Catcher — Very attractive truck. Has held up nicely for 4 years. Does very well in the snow. Very roomy inside. Has been very reliable. Feel very safe when driving in it, and very fun to drive. Low maintenance. Good vehicle to own.

You Can Go Fast, I Can Go Anywhere! — Add 35" tires and with no other changes this truck can be driven anywhere. The many options of the power wagon package make it the off road powerhouse it is. Winch, skid plates, lockers, 4.56 gears, real transfer case and still very reliable grocery geter soccer mom or dad truck.

Primary Use: Family transportation

An Awesome Ride — beautiful truck that gets over 22 miles to the gallon. I have driven as a family car or pulling the 28 foot boat. Either way it still rides like a Mercedes not a diesel truck Have a great day where ever you are or what your doing.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

2005 Dodge 2500 Slt Cummins Diesel — This is probably the best truck we've had so far. It has great pulling power and can haul anything we have. It costed 40,000 dollars so we're still paying it off. It is very fun to drive because of the feel when you hear the turbo wind up. It is very fun to drive.

2005 Ram 2500 Laramie — I bought this truck to haul horses, and boy does it haul! Smooth and strong over mountain passes with 28' goose neck trailer with up to 4 horses. It has also been my main transportation around town which is not so practical; kinda hard to park. But a beautiful truck that I have loved to own.

Perfect — I love everything except one thing, I had a recall done on it and if you drive with the door open in reverse the alarm goes off. the power is there, the look is there. I can hook up to a 16,00lb trailer tow it to the mountain unhook, and Drag the truck all day long. it does everything.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
