2005 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500

For 2005, the Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 got new standard 6 speed manual transmission on all trims.  Crew cabs got some nifty optional upgrades including Sirius radio and power sunroof.  With 24 trims, no one can say that the '05 Ram 1500 doesn't give them freedom of choice.

The '05 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 gives you a choice between a 3.7 L V6 and 4.7 L V8 powertrain.  Gas mileage generally comes out to 14 mpg in the city and 18 on the highway.  Trims come in 2 door, 3 seat or 4 door, 6 seat configurations.  Expect towing capacity to max out at just over 9000 lbs. on the strongest trim.

Overall, the 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 gets the job done as a rugged beast of burden and as your everyday ride to the grocery store.  This vehicle has good interior room, solid steering, and ample power in the V8.  On the other hand, the Ram 1500 could use more room in the backseat and better gas mileage.  Regardless, the Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 has a workhorse image that it manages to successfully maintain every year.
