Great Reliable Vehicle With No Issues — I did not dislike anything about this vehicle besides the gas mileage. Overall I can look pass the gas mileage when I have a good looking, dependable vehicle. This vehicle has carried my large family on trips, it has hauled trailers, and been used for moving a couple of times. Very dependable vehicle that is great in the wintery Ohio weather.

Powerful And Large Family Hauler — I purchased my Durango new with the sole purpose of using for family vacations. It fit that bill to a "T". We hauled our boat 1200 miles on I-95 and averaged 18 MPG. A family of four and 2 weeks worth of luggage fit with room for the family pet. Maintenance only required oil changes and a radiator flush, never needed anything else. Overall I am very happy with this vehicle.

Great — Great SUV. Very reliable transportation. Vehicle is excellant in snow, ice, rain or really any weather with it's 4 WD. The ride is very comfortable also. It is smooth and soft with no feeling of it being a big SUV or truck. Vehicle has plenty of leg and head room also, for those long trips you may need to take. Also, for hauling stuff around, there is plenty of room and even more when you lay the backseat down flat.

Great Suv! — From E420 to a Durango. My previous 2 cars were E Class Sedans. Having never owned a Dodge I have been pleased with the reliability, great dealership and gas mileage! Mine is Limited with Hemi. With 155,000+ I average19 MPG. Best mileage was 24 HWY usually get 21 HWY and 16 City. For a huge SUV this is great. I looked and drove every large SUV but this had the best combination of price, size and options (not the best looking a bit like a bulldog). I ordered this and then added the extended warranty from the dealership. The lack of problems made the extended warranty a waste. I needed the extended warrantyt with my MBs. Considering I usually sell my cars at 135 - 150 K (On the road a lot for work) I plan on keeping it and rolling past 200K. It still looks good and drives well. Love the Hemi with the valve shut down. If you need a big SUV buy a Durango with the Hemi!

Rhino — overall a nice vehicle but there are some downfalls to it the brakes are not that good but it is a big SUV. but very smooth ride because of the All Wheel Drive system. Being a fully loaded truck its makes you feel like royalty.

The Best Truck I Have Owned. — This truck is underpowered and should be modified. Off the line power is average at best, top end power is respectable. Braking and handling are outstanding courtesy of the AWD and 4 wheel disc brakes. The truck has very few squeeks and rattles on rough terrain and none in the city. Beautiful truck inside and out, I am 6'6" and have plenty of head, shoulder, leg and hip room. That's more than I can say for the rest of the Big 3 and foreign automakers, Trust me I sampled them all. As far as fuel mileage I am averaging right around 15 miles per gallon and that is a mix of city and highway. The truck is a blast to drive, you wouldn't believe a bigger SUV would handle that well but the AWD really makes it a fun truck to drive and I never feel top heavy.

It's beastly.

Cons

It's huge.

I Like It, On Occasion, But Not An Everyday Car For Me. — It's a tank. Gas mileage sucks, but there's nothing like hand-over-hand steering this beast onto a two-lane road. It was a pretty good deal when bought, and has served us well, and is continuing to do so. It's taken a couple repairs, but the best part are the tires.

2005 Durango, Slt 4x4. 4.7 Litre Magnum V-8 — I have the 4.7 litre in my Durango. It pulls just fine for a small V-8. The Hemi would be overkill. brakes seem ok for the size of the vehicle. it's a solid little truck, with no squeaks or rattles on bumpy roads. Extremely quiet for a V-8. Thw AWD is great in the snow. Love it.
