Pros

Plenty of power to tow and nice enough to make you feel pampered.

Cons

Gas milage is painful at $4/gallon

2005 Dodge Durango — Love the 4WD and towing capacity. Leather interior is nice as well as the entertainment system. Gas milage is mediocre at 13 city 18 hwy. Its fun to drive with its 5.7L hemi. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone with a need to tow or haul.

Great Truck — This truck is a great vehicle for highway driving, towing a trailer, and taking to the beach or mountains. There is tons of room and also has a 3rd row seating for extra people! Great car all around minus the gas milage.

The Best Truck I Have Owned. — This truck is underpowered and should be modified. Off the line power is average at best, top end power is respectable. Braking and handling are outstanding courtesy of the AWD and 4 wheel disc brakes. The truck has very few squeeks and rattles on rough terrain and none in the city. Beautiful truck inside and out, I am 6'6" and have plenty of head, shoulder, leg and hip room. That's more than I can say for the rest of the Big 3 and foreign automakers, Trust me I sampled them all. As far as fuel mileage I am averaging right around 15 miles per gallon and that is a mix of city and highway. The truck is a blast to drive, you wouldn't believe a bigger SUV would handle that well but the AWD really makes it a fun truck to drive and I never feel top heavy.

Rhino — overall a nice vehicle but there are some downfalls to it the brakes are not that good but it is a big SUV. but very smooth ride because of the All Wheel Drive system. Being a fully loaded truck its makes you feel like royalty.

2005 Durango — 2005 Dodge Durango Limited / 5.7L Hemi - auto / 3.55 4WD The 5.7L Hemi is a great engine. Ever since it came out, I wanted a Mopar with one of these. A Challenger would have been nice, but the wife needed a grocery hauler. So I bought her an SUV that would get her to the store in under 20 seconds.

It's beastly.

Cons

It's huge.

I Like It, On Occasion, But Not An Everyday Car For Me. — It's a tank. Gas mileage sucks, but there's nothing like hand-over-hand steering this beast onto a two-lane road. It was a pretty good deal when bought, and has served us well, and is continuing to do so. It's taken a couple repairs, but the best part are the tires.

This Vehicle Does Everything We Ask It To Do,,, Just Not As Well As Other Makes Have. — fuel mileage sucks, interior fit-N-finish is poor, exterior bumper-cladding is cheap at best, did I mention the poor fuel economy?? I mean the LACK of fuel economy??good car for winter-type driving,if ya can afford it.phenominal 4-Wheel Drive capabilities

Love My Durango — I love my truck. I have driven many different SUV's before and I fell in love with this as soon as I sat in it. I truly enjoy riding in it and so do my two sons. There is plenty of room for longer trips and rooms to move around a bit. Honestly, I have also been finding that it gets pretty decent gas mileage as well.

2005 Durango, Slt 4x4. 4.7 Litre Magnum V-8 — I have the 4.7 litre in my Durango. It pulls just fine for a small V-8. The Hemi would be overkill. brakes seem ok for the size of the vehicle. it's a solid little truck, with no squeaks or rattles on bumpy roads. Extremely quiet for a V-8. Thw AWD is great in the snow. Love it.
