2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Trim Overview

Only two of eleven PT Cruiser models wear the GT badge, which signifies the addition of a substantially more powerful version of the 2.4 liter engine.  The GT's turbocharged power plant delivers 220 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.  The GT's 0 to 60 time, at 6.7 seconds, is more than four seconds quicker than the base engine models.

This top shelf PT Cruiser also comes with an impressive list of standard equipment.  The GT includes most of the convenience and luxury items found on the Limited trim, like fog lamps, full power accessories, tinted glass, a garage door opener, an anti-theft system and front side airbags.

The GT is set apart by several additional safety features including ABS and traction control, and appearance enhancements like 17-inch chrome wheels and a rear spoiler.  This trim also comes with a power moon roof.
