Pros

Faster then all it's competitors and cheaper then most.

Cons

A little expensive to maintain, and the trunk opening is way to small.

Looks Good, Goes Better — With that supercharger the acceleration is awesome, 2nd and 3rd gear really pull. Corners good and flat, though it is front wheel drive. I like the look of the interior, I think it should age well style wise. But the trim around the window switch gear is peeling and it's been replaced once all ready, come on GM you can't paint plastic. Looks wise, everybody thinks I put the body kit on and compliments me on it. Tires and oil changes are brutally expensive but I guess that's the cost of owning a fast car. I can get 40mpg on the highway and V8 power when I step on it, best of both worlds.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Nobody suspects a cobalt to be quick

Cons

Every 16 year old chick drives a base cobalt.

Overall Satisfied With It. — The performance is more than you would suspect with 250hp, 15lbs of boost and drilled and slotted rotors. Of course this is after the stage 2 kit. But thats a must have. Gas mileage is decreased with the power adder but overall a good car.

If You're Looking For A Car, Its Cheap And Good On Gas. That Is If You Drive Nice Of Course — The trunk is huge if you need room in a 2 door coupe, this would be your ticket, it also has a decent amout of back seat space and head room. For a base coupe the 2.0l 4 cylinder engine has got a decent amout of balls for a 4 banger. It governs at 170 thought =(, so thats kinda bummer. Parts to improve the car thought are not that terribly expensive.

Worst Than Anything Imaginable. Mafunctioned And Continues To Surprise In A Horrible Way. — The car handled like a dream for the first three months, but on the forth month it was a nightmare to deal with. The things that went wrong were just too much to handle. First the car turned off on it's own, randomly, then it locked and unlocked itself. The power steering went out soon after. To make things worst, they keys got stuck and wouldn't move. This was tied to the shifter, which locked (twice) in 1 year! Horrible vehicle and GM refuses to announce a recall for it. Do not buy their cars!

A Perfect First Car! — Love everything about my car! Nontraditional color(Sunburst), lots of trunk space, very good on gas. Passengers say it's small but I say right size for me. Perfect for weaving in traffic. Easy to handle, great for last second breaking. Drivers seat has many adjustment options. Baught used, owned for three years. Never been in for repairs, only for fluids and tire services. I love driving my car and love it more than any other car I've driven.

The Best Car I Have Ever Owned — I bought the car in 2005 and I have had no problems out of it at all!! I have never changed the brakes or had any engine problems..nothing! It drives smooth and gets great gas mileage. If you are looking for a cute, cheap, good quality car that won't empty your wallet at the pump..the Cobalt is for you!!

Pros

definately worth the extra $ to get the 7 speaker sound system, the sub sounds great. it's not overkill. good on gas, about 25 mpg. cheap if your on a budget.

Cons

the nickel paint color on the interior could at least stay put, or make those parts that are painted the silver color instead of black.

Nice And Affordable. — performance- when you accelerate fast it has a little bit of a delayed reaction. kinda sucks. but I don't race so I guess it doesnt matter that much. build quality- on door handle inside, the silver paint is chipping off and the fabric is pulling away from the handle. appearance- it's a pretty car, no doubt. not my first choice but it works for now. cost- pay about $40 from 1/8 of a tank to fill it. i just pay for the oil changes every 3 months. good quality if you take car of it, it's never needed anything else done to it. fun- it feels much funner when it's clean and has some tire shine. =)

Gold Chevy Cobalt — Great Gas Mileage. Compact and easy to handle on the highway. It has great passing power. Handles well on all types of road conditions. Love the style and design. Perfect color inside and out. And is very fun to drive. I would recommend it to any one young and old.

I Like It When It Works — I love the car. It has had a lot of problems since I've bought it. I also don't get to drive it much due to being gone all the time. When I am able to drive it it's an amazing feeling.
