ProsFun to drive, extremely practical hatchback design, cheap to own Consnot actually that fast, limited tuning potential at the limit, FF limitations

A Fun-to-drive, Sporty Yet Practical Hatchback — The key to this car is that it's fun to drive. Not necessarily all that fast but the urgency of the VTEC and 8,000rpm is incredibly addicting and fun. Handling is the best attribute of this car, although lowering it too much ruins the geometry. It's a honda so reliability and build quality are top notch. I personally like the way the RSX looks but thats purely subjective. Oh, the hatchback design is amazing, there is a TON of cargo space

ProsAcceleration, handling, quality, appearance, brings a smile everytime you hit 8K Cons2nd gear wheelhop

Rsx-s - Greatest Fwd I4 — Solid performance in all areas, gets 0-60 in 6.5 in 3rd gear, solid till 130MPH in 5th. No major problems only the common 3rd gear grind and leaky lights (fixed by dealer for free) Looks gorgeous despite the tan interior, supportive seats and decent room. Gas mileage is good, premium recommended. Overall, I can drive my dad's E92 M3, then drive my RSX-S and wont be bored.

Lower End Luxury, Fun To Drive. — I love my car. It was a great choice for a first car. I have been in one accident, and haven't had it fixed, but you can barely tell. Mine has a leather interior, automatic transmission(i would recommend manual tho), and a sunroof.

ProsQuick, bucket seats, design of interior. ConsIt's a stick shift and I deal with a lot of "stop and go" traffic. The factory paint job (red) is now a nightmare! It looked gorgeous until about 3 years ago. Now it's half pink and half red.

Sporty And Reliable — Maintenance costs are average, except my driver's side power window died and I was told that it would cost $350 to fix it. They said the parts for the Type-S window motor & regulator would cost about $300. This was not a dealer quote. There are some blind spots which make it difficult to see, especially when you're in a median and trying to pull out into traffic. Overall it's a great car to have if you don't have to deal with constant traffic and you don't plan on having more than 1 passenger. The look of the car is very sporty and stands out. 2005 Rsx Type S — Performance: Over all, 10/10, nothing more I could ask from a stock K20Z1. Build Quality: No complaints, at all. Appearance: One of the best looking sport coupe's out there, interior is flawless. Cost of Ownership: Not bad at all, should run on 93 octane gas though as most sportier cars should Fun Factor: 10/10, extremely fun to drive. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

2005 Acura RSX Coupe w/ 5-spd Review
ProsThis is a 5-speed manual transmission: the smoothest shifting car I have ever had, breaking and acceleration excellent, reliable, nice pick-up with 160 HP VTEC engine. ConsI do not have any cons about this car.

Great Car, Attractive And Smooth To Drive. — I needed a car because my car was stolen and stripped. I searched for an RSX because I saw it at the Milwaukee auto show when they first came out in 2002, stopped making them in 2006. and said right there, this is my next car! This is a 2005, has all the extras you would want on a car, beautiful color and body style. I love the design of the front and rear lights, I think they look cool. I have only driven this car about $5,000 miles, partially because I have another car, and partially because I have only had it about 14 months, and partially because I quit working about 12 months ago, so I no longer had a commute to work. There is nothing wrong with this car, everything works great, I have enjoyed driving it, felt safe in it and it was fun to drive to. I am only selling it because I have a Miata which is great in this warm climate and I can have the top down a lot. I have tried to keep both because I love both of them, but it is no longer practical. Therefore, I have made the decision to keep the convertible and sell the Acura. Primary Use: Commuting to work
