Summer Ride — I have a 5-speed. It's a fun car to drive. Lots of trunk space. All controls are well placed except the power seat controls. Pretty good on gas. Comfortable on long runs & quiet.

The Gold Standard For Carsi N This Class. — I have always liked the Toyota Camry. This vehicle is reliable and will not let you down. Materials, Fit and Finish are far superior to others in this class.

Great Used Car So Far. — Nothing has went wrong from 72K to 95K. TRD 18" run nice. Good car for audio system. Clean paint.

I Feel Like An Old Man Driving This Car ... — I'm not exactly young (38), but I feel even older when I drive my parents 2002 Toyota Camry. The styling is nothing spectacular both inside and out. It handles like a car twice its size and the V6 feels like it has less power than my sisters 4-cylinder Honda Accord. I guess it's not a bad car for my parents, but I certainly wouldn't want to own one. I like crisper handling and loads of power. This car is a disappointment to me, but I'm sure others find it somewhat "luxurious". Anyway, my parents are happy with it and it has been a reliable form of transportation for the last 3+ years.

I Like My Care Just Little Things That Are Going Wrong. — 2004 is a great year but I have already had to change the front leather seat because it cracked and now it is cracking again.

Unless The Volt Takes Off I May Buy Another Hybrid Version Of This Camry. — I have owned (and nicknamed Ford-Man) Fairlanes, Galaxies, LTD's, and crown Vic's. but none of them come close to the quality of this Camry. I truely wish (although made in the US) it had a domestic name. The car has had zero problems and currently I have 110,000 (today Feb, 2011) The 4 cyl is strong and really goes, all the others prior were minimum 6 cyl and most V8's. I could not understand all the problems in the news about this car.

Good Car — This car is a sweet ride. it performs well. it is Japanese and built on an assembly line so it is built better than i expected. its a good car for a good price. it isn't no Mercedes so don't be expecting anything special.very good gas mileage-30 mpg i think. okay it is not a Ferrari. i don't know if anyone thinks driving a cheaply manufactured vehicle. it isn't classic, it isn't European, it isn't handmade.the styling is pretty cool if you ask me. runs well, easy to repair

Pros

Engine, Reliability.

Cons

Suspensions too comfortable

2004 Toyota Camry Xle — Performance: Powerful engine. Good acceleration for highway driving. Like the ECT button which delays the upshift allowing me to enter the powerbend (>6000rpm). That takes up more petrol. But to be honest, my petrol is paid for. Build Quality: Being a Toyota, it is cheap to maintain. And extremely reliable. Appearance: The newer camrys have too much wood for my liking. Perhaps the typical family man in his 40s would like it. However, i am only 19 and i don't like wood. I'm still fine with the amount of wood this 2004 camry has. Not too much. Cost of Ownership: Very good fuel economy for a 2.4L car. I get on average 11.8km/L. And i'm considered a pretty heavy footed. Good car for people who need a powerful enough engine. Fun Factor: Well. It's best suited for highway driving. It's comfortable because the suspensions are soft. But it's not my type of car to drive because i would prefer something stiffer, less comfortable and sportier. Still, it's great fun racing to the next traffic light with this car.
