The Reliable 4runner — great reliable vehicle , they hold they value and are excellent to resell. Good features such as surround sound system , factory towing package , aluminum wheel and sunroof are good extras. But what really sells this vehicles are the reliable engine and transmission. even with the V8 you still have good gas mileage and lots of power .

Great Suv — This 4runner is awesome, but we are looking to sell it since we really don't need all the space, like we used to. We would like to downsize to a car. I will definitely miss this Toyota 4runner when we sell it!

Safe Safe Safe — This is the best truck I have ever owened! It does ride like a truck, so if you want a truck that rides like a car buy a Highlander, they are built to ride like a car a Toyota Camry in fact. My son was involved in a very bad accident in a 2005 version of my 4 runner. A loaded dump truck pulled out in front of my son only able to get up to 8 mph. My son was going 55 mph in the left lane of a major highway just slightly ahead of a fully loaded log truck in the right lane. My son locked the brakes swerved hit the lt rear end with his lt front end of the dump truck. My son was then horizontal in the middle of the highway & the log truck struck the 4 runner broadside on the driver side going 55 mph, fliped the 4 runner over 3 times & came to rest on top of my sons 4 runner. It took 3 tow trucks to remove the log truck off of the 4 runner. My son was trapped for 2 hours. Yes my son was hurt.., however he did not die,he is not paralyzed & his brain was never injured! I believe the many safety features & many air bags of this Toyota 4 runner helped to save his life.

This Is The Perfect Sport Suv. It's Rugid Yet Stylish And Drives Like A Gem. — This is a smooth SUV. It handles incredibly well and is very safe and comfortable to drive. It is insanely reliable and has tons of cargo space. It's the perfect sports SUV in that it tows boats, bikes and skis.

Wonderful — It looks great on the outside and runs great as well. Never had any issues beside the regular maintenance. what I really like about the car is how reliable it is and also how specious it is, though it has only two row sitting the back is huge.

Toyota 4 Runner — A great all around vehicle. Mileage averages 18 to 19 miles a gallon in a combo of city and freeway driving. Great, reliable sport utility vehicle. Very few maintenance issues. It's been coast to coast, from Texas to Florida and back several times and to California and back.

Premier off road capability, quality, and reliability

comparably low on storage

Far Cry From The All Wheel Drive Minivans That Dominate The Suv Class — An absolute tank in deep snow. With off road capabilities has a surprisingly smooth ride on the road. Could have more storage space, though I'd trade the space to get the advantages of the independent rear axle. Gets decent fuel efficiency, surprisingly good considering the power and torque it offers, especially as compared to the other 'conversion' SUVs that it out-performs in off-road situations.

You Should Buy One — Climbs anything in any weather, excellent car only had a few minor fixes. Has a SLR motorsports chip, K&N cold air intake system, with a Borla cat. back exhaust system which sounds great. always fun to drive and there is plenty of room inside.

I'd Buy It All Over Again — Purchsed the vehicle new in 2004. The truck has all the bells and whistles, very good performance and has encountered NO quality issues as of yet. It has 60,000 miles and drives/looks like it's brand new. I would purchase a new 4 runner in a heartbeat

Its The Perfect Car For Someone That Likes Rugged Suvs — THe toyota 4runner is an amazing driving machine. It has just enough power clocking in at 245 hp and is a rugged car. I have taken it offroading and it is a very fun car to drive and also extremely dependable.
