Awesome Performer! — This car has been an awesome performer in all ways. One weak point, however (typical German car) is the electronics--there have been a couple of small failures; the stereo am receiver and the turn indicators. But it has never left me stranded, and has never failed to turn heads and still looks new.

Outstanding — Love the power and handling and overall utility of vehicle. Outstanding acceleration, braking and handling. You feel safe and in control in all weather conditions driving. This car is fun to drive and gives you all the fun you can expect driving a Porsche. Gas milage is not good but who cares you have 500 horses to feed under the engine. All the power you need to pull anything and the reliability of driving a Porsche. It is like you never left the living room or the lazy-boy recliner because the ride is so smooth and comfortable. The look of the Turbo is unique and turns heads especially on the highway when you leave other cars in the dust from the power and acceleration to move fast and avoid bad drivers. Only down fall of this car is the maintenance cost which requires around 2K every 60K miles but it's the only time you have to do it. It's a know quantity of reliability if you do your maintenance it takes care of you in the worst conditions of driving cross country.

Pros

Great power and handling. At low RPMs it drives like a truck and at high RPMs in runs like a sports car.

Cons

Low gas mileage. High cost of maintenance.

I Love To Drive This Suv And Would Only Trade It For A Newer One. — Dislike gas mileage and maintenance cost not all maintenance can be completed by the due it your selfer and must go to the dealer for any computer related items. Love the way it drives. Has plenty of power. Goes great in the snow. This is my winter commuter.

Pros

The Cayenne Turbo is very quick when the turbo boost kicks in. Lots of gadgets everywhere. The Turbo is much better equipped than the base model.

Cons

The car is ugly and guzzles fuel, but get 15mpg fuel economy when taking it easy. Also there are a few common issues with these like cooling hoses, drive shafts and coils that must be rectified.

At the moment, I am getting occasional 4WD errors and PSM errors, like from the transfer case module.

Good Family Hauler — I would recommend this over a Range Rover or X5. A bit more performance orientated and less likely to leave you at the side of the road with the hood up. Mine was bought used and came with ski racks, snow chains, new navigation maps, all the recalls / TSBs completed. I highly recommend paying $150 for a pre-purchase inspection for a car this complex.

Excellent Bang For The Buck — This is excellent value for money now. Starting out well over 100k, these can now be had for around $25k and are excellent value. Performance is very good, handling excellent considering this thing's size and weight, no rattles or squeeks, and because it is a wolf in sheep's clothing, fun factor is great.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Beautiful Cayenne — I love how fast my Cayenne is. Extremely comfortable to drive anywhere. Love the Porsche engine. Can travel with lots of baggage. This is truly a family car. Does drink gas but well worth it. Rarely in the shop but can be expensive.

Nice To Have :) — I really like my Prosche, at last it is a Porsche ! Great power and acceleration, durable brakes, however unbeleivable fuel consuption 20 l/100 km. I am happy with the overall performance. Not happy about the so computer controlled driving.
