Think This Will Be An Incredible Car, — Just got the car (6-11)so still exploring all the performance capabilities. Looks gorgeous! Particlarly looking forward to experiencing the 4WD and how that affects cornering. This will be a regular driver, not just a weekend car. And hope to have a lot of good weather to enjoy the top-down driving.

My C4s — Performance is very very good :) Handling and brakes are awesome. Looks gorgeous. I love it. Only had it a while so cant comment on reliability etc. The Tiptronic gearbox seems excellent. Came with a hard-top for the winter. Fuel consumption is better than I expected.

Pros

This car was built for drivers!!!!   Handles like a dream.   corners  well.   Stops on a dime.  Turns on a dime.

Cons

Not much of a back seat, really not made for more than 2.  Expensive to have worked on however never had a problem.

2004 Porsche Carrera 911 (996) Fast Flirty Silly Fun — She is fast, flirty and leave you in the dust dirty!!! This 2004 Porsche was the best yet, I think for performance hands down. Comfort, safety and a all around a drivers car. Tires are a little expensive, that is if you want high porformance tires which is the ONLY way to go for these cars. If you want a beautiful sports car, This is it!

2004 Porsche Carrare 911 C4s — Overall an awesome car for responsiveness, acceleration, handling and prestige appeal. No repairs required in 4+ years and 50,000+ miles. Interior and exterior trim and fit are very clean and tight without any noticeable degradation from day 1. Gas mileage over the life of the car has been an amazing 19.6 Fun factor? I can't drive anything else now !

A Thrill To Drive! — This is just a nice weather "Toy" for me. It is a BLAST to drive. I would say you would be very hard pressed to find a nicer 04 Carrera 911 out there with 17,000 pampered miles on it. Great handling, quick and just a joy to drive.

Cons

Lack of storage the biggest. Arm rest pads are not padded. Long drives hurt my back.

Great, Fun Car! — This was my My 1st Porsche and certainly will not be my last. Very reliable and fast. Handles beautifully, tires last maybe, 20k miles. 996 headlights not my favorite, but the Motor is very strong and has a nice note. I sold it for an E92 M3, it has more room and is still fun to drive. A used 996 with less than 40k miles for around $35k is a great/fun first affordable Porsche.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Awesome — Noisy, loud, rough riding, low clearance, stiff clutch. However, it is awesome. Great engine, it sings all the way to 8,200 rpm. Rugged transmission, tuned suspension for great handling. Massive front brakes. Overall great engineering. I know this car is not for everyone.

Exhilarating! — great handling sports car, feel the acceleration and power once you hit the gas pedal, great manual 6 speed shift all in the palm of your hand. all wheel drive is an added plus once you hit the corners and curves, you are in control all the time.

Great Fun Motoring With Excellent Performance — This is an awesome vehicle. All wheel drive combined with a turbo rush and the wind through your hair. Very easy to get into trouble with this car, it wants to do much more than legally allowed on the road... This is what makes it a great car for DE events on the track.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Nothing Drives Like A Porsche — I have two now and am now looking at the ultimate one. A GT3 or a GT3RS. Nothing beats the way these cars launch, since the motor sits right over the back tires. Incredible grip, road feel, balance and sports car adrenaline all in one package.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
