The ES is only differentiated from the base level DE by a couple of features. Both styles house the 2.4 liter inline four, which generates 160 horsepower and 157 pound feet of torque.
Standard features include full power accessories, air conditioning, cloth upholstery, keyless entry and a CD player. The ES adds cruise control and an upgraded sound system. Options expand at this level, and now include ABS, leather upholstery, a sunroof, alloy wheels and front side airbags.

The top level GTS is also powered by Mitsubishi's 230 horsepower, 3.8 liter V-6. A four-speed automatic is the only transmission option, but a manual shifter is included here. The GTS also comes with a sport-tuned suspension.
The GTS receives several features upgrades, including automatic climate control, leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel mounted audio controls, a power sunroof and a premium Infinity sound system with a six-disc CD changer. The GTS exterior is differentiated from the lower trims by the addition of fog lamps, 17-inch tires, alloy wheels and a rear spoiler.
