My Mg Zt 2.0tdi — Well as this car bears the MG-Rover badge I must say the build quality is not bad not top class but not bad and as of yet I have not been able to keep my goldfish in the glove box. A lot of the above has to be down to the large German car company who owned MG Rover in the 75/ZT era this is more than apparent when you take a look at some of the equipment in the 75/ZT it would be just at home in a 3 or 5 series and if its good enough for BMW its good enough for me!!! Now to the important bit whatâs in the stable well the model I own is a 2.0Tdi and to be honest it must be a small stable as it lacks the horses to pull it along. Make sure you have a good battery as this baby stalls every time you pull away unless you plant your right foot through the floor. But when you get used to this it becomes apparent that it isnât all that bad and is bullet proof, At least mine is 150k and still going strong maybe due to the fact the engine has not been over stressed as some Tdis that are fitted with a massive a turbo to give increased bhp or maybe its simply as the engine is in fact a BMW engine ok it may have been thrown on to the scrap heap by them but im sure its better than and Rover Tdi lump. The gearbox is nice and tight as is the whole feel of the car although the ride is a bit harsh. |

Frugal Fun With All The Toys — MG ZT 135+ with Option Pack - more optional extras than you can shake a stick at. 2.0 litre twin cam 16v turbo-charged common-rail diesel engine - what a mouthful! Oodles of torque and despite being a huge car, it handles like a really small one! Primary Use: Family transportation |

Mg Ztt+ Cdti — Bought it for the BMW engine and thought the MG/Rover bits would be rubish only to find out that the engine has been really unreliable and the Rover/MG bits to be superb....... Go figure! Overall, great value for money and just hit 111,000 miles, 200,000 target in line for next year! |
