Buy One And Buy One Now! — Finally got an XJ! 4.2 V8, but the aluminium body makes it no heavier on fuel than my previous 3.0 V6 X Type. Hit the sport button and this car really shifts. Big and comfy, superb handling. It's a big car but it somehow shrinks around you when you drive it. I'm in love!

A Great Buy For A Luxury Car Lover — I have honestly nothing negative to say about this car, perhaps its because I get a thorough maintenance job done on it every season. Good Car If You Can Afford Having Another Car Around To Drive — The car is beautiful, fun to drive, and performs (when it works) but it's in the shop all the time so we have to give only 2 stars. Jaguar cars still have the mechanical problems of the past and it makes it a problem for fans of the cars. You have to have a second car to use to own a vandenplas from the 2004 year. This car has been in the shop more than 60 days in the past year. We love the way the car drives when it works, sadly it doesn't work well often. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Prosstyling, ride, performance (weight is low for big car), solid body construction - very rigid but light, 1st class tranny Consliving in FL I would ask for the AC to blow harder during startup, but that's about all I would change

Jag Xj8 2004 — I still shake my head at why the car devalues so fast. This car was totally re engineered in 2004 and it doesn't have any weaknesses. I really can't think of any complaints even if Ford sold them to Tata. Tata has some deep pockets so maybe Jag will take it rightful place once again. | ||

Samm's Car — I don't like the sporadic warning light flashing up for no reason - I have to take it to the dealer to get it turned off...A known problem with Jaguar, I hear. I just love the smooth, comfortable ride in my car. Perhaps I just grew up but I wouldn't swap it for any sporty job! |
